Working with my new ND 6 stop filter in overcast was a bit of a wash, especially with long exposures blurred by the wind added into the mix. Yet, the added color depth from the filter gave this pseudo IR processing some interesting textures!
I noticed this ND filter is quite good at differentiating green hues. I look forward to testing as I'm hoping it'll replace my polarizing filter in more instances. Anyone else using the Breakthrough Photography filters?

(Behind-the-scene: I shot this under the rain. I had my wifes huge umbrella clipped under left armpit and side of left face while I focused and made adjustments with both hands. It wasn't too dark, although the rain was unrelenting. I was careful not to let a drop fall on Lucio. It was cold, and wet, and fun! This is another of my wife's Pink Hibiscus. I am just glad they are sturdy enough to withstand the cold weather we've been getting. But I know it's only a matter of time before they all give i to the cold climate settling in.)
I see my contacts have been converted into followers. Seems the circular table of Flickr has now become rectangular.
Not sure about how you feel about it, but for me it sounds pretentious to talk about my followers. Contacts had connotations of mutuality. Followers sounds hierarchical.

I think I've just about photographed every flower in the yard here lately. I haven't got to get out anywhere with my camera in several months, and I'm really starting to get antsy.
