This is the first time I've had such good luck capturing a pink water lily. Most of the time I only see white or blue ones. They are all beautiful, but this one was spectacular.
Once or twice a year I go to Aimes Park to capture these beautiful flowers. They are among my favorites, and I'm never disappointed, no matter what color they are.

On a walk around Abberley Park September 10, 2015 Christchurch New Zealand.
Abberley has its origins as a private garden, with the earliest trees dating from the 1860s. The park retains much of its original peaceful 19th century character, since maintenance rather than redevelopment has been the focus from the time it came under City Council ownership in the late 1930s.

I thought all my bottles of perfume looked pretty together. I don't usually wear perfume, (well, I do sometimes..) Because I get headaches if the smell is really strong, but I buy cheap ones that smell nice and the packging is pretty. Reminds me of old fashioned movies and photos where a lady in a gown sits down at her dresser, piled with perfume bottles and oils.
I accidentally had the camera on low light and unfocused instead of auto when trying to take the next picture.
Pretty Beach is a south-eastern suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia on the Bouddi Peninsula. It is part of the City of Gosford local government area.
The beach itself does not face the sea directly but is part of Brisbane Water, making it a safe place for both children and the mooring of boats. Approximately 200 people live in the immediate area. Pretty Beach is surrounded by the Bouddi National Park. The main institution in the area is the Pretty Beach Public school, established in 1928, which services the greater Bouddi Peninsula community.

Butchart Gardens covers fifty-five acres of a million bedding plants in some 900 varieties giving an uninterrupted blooming season from March through October. Almost a million people visit annually.
Looks like Foie Gras, but tastes more like Bone Marrow, and Scallop roe...If that makes ANY sense. It just fantastic, with sweet/sour taste from the Su Miso(Vinegar+Miso), heat from the Ichimi Chili, and the Momiji Oroshi. The pretty Micro greens and Flower petals, as well as the Ki no me added a grassy tone to the dish too! A great start for a wonderful Culinary Rollercoaster ride:-)

Tulips I bought for myself.
I like buying flowers.
I didn't care for buying flowers at all before flickr. Now I like buying flowers for myself to photograph. When I am done, I then tell my wife they are for her when she gets home from work. Hey, there is nothing wrong with me buying flowers to photograph and making my wife and I happy at the same time.
Just don't tell my wife I'm cheating on her.
