Stunning pink Tulips with low morning sun shining through their petals along the Kilcock road in Maynooth. The residents along this street do such a nice job of adding a splash of colour to grass verge in front of the houses!
A pretty girl with a pretty shadow was walking down the street in front of me. She could really move, it was hard to keep up with her.

I had only one girl of my own. I remember dressing her up in pretty frilly stuff. Until one day she told me, "She wasn't wearing that". It was fun up until that day. These two girls were the best dressed out of everyone in the photo. Including mom. Oh yes I can say I am guilty of dressing my girl up, and ignoring my own attire needs. How about you?

This is a BRAND NEW one of a kind tsumami kanzashi decorative hair comb. Tsumami (folded flower) kanzashi are a type of Japanese hair ornament made of tiny squares of fabric. This piece was made from vintage kimono silk and fashioned in the form an cute little peony that's decorated with faux pearls and a chiffon ribbon. This piece is approximately 3" across and 2.5" from top to bottom.
Tsumami kanzashi are perfect for many special occasions - proms, weddings, formals, historical costumes and cosplay.
I make these hair ornaments with great care. If you are interested I also take custom orders. Please contact me if you would like to commission a kanzashi.

Pretty muddy is a race for life event run annually. The aim is to raise money through donations to support Cancer charity Cancer UK.
My two daughters have run the race for some years now. This year my youngest daughter and friend ran for my granddaughter recovering after being diagnosed with cancer at 8 months old, she is now in remission and thanks to modern medicine is faring well.
The 'Pretty Muddy' race is 5Km and every so often there are obstacles to negotiate, usually involving mud and water.

Far-out 1970 Christie with oxidized red hair wears a rare version of the 1968 PAK fashion "Dressed-Up." The bodice is from the same fabric as the brocade overdress from #1660 "Evening Gala" (1966-1967). The skirt is a very delicate red satin which LOVES to fade. Took me years to find this one in mint condition. She is pictured with a NRFB 1970 Christie and an equally beautiful near mint Christie with dark black cherry hair.
I took a picture of these hollyhock (or alcea) flowers during a walk near my place and thought they were pretty nice for a picture!
