in dappled light. You can see a third cub behind the two looking at me. These were the most beautiful cubs I saw on this trip. They are first year cubs and so healthy looking. Mom was taking very good care of them. Notice how much bigger they are than the previous triplets I have posted so far.
The cub population there was good this trip. I saw 3 moms that each had 3 cubs. Two moms with first year triplets and one mom with second year triplets. Always happy to see that. Then of course numerous moms with one or two cubs and several large boars.

"You are pretty.
And not for that trickle of makeup.
You are beautiful for how much life has passed on you,
for the dreams you have inside that I don't know. "

Michigan wetlands have changed considerably since the invasion of two attractive invasive species: Phragmites, a tall reed; and, this pretty, purplish bloomer, Purple Loosestrife.
Purple Loosestrife is a hardy plant that grows quickly to as much as 4 feet (1.2m) tall, and spreads quickly.

The Robins in the park are very active this winter. They are the only birds singing at this time of the year, sometimes already before sunrise, during the day, or in the evening.

can't wait for spring...
Pretty In Pink
The Psychedelic Furs
Caroline laughs, and it's raining all day
Loves to be one of the girls
She lives in the place in the side of our lives
Where nothing is ever put straight
She turns herself 'round
And she smiles and she says
"This is it, that's the end of the joke"
And loses herself in her
Dreaming and sleep, and her
Lovers walk through in their coats
Pretty in pink, isn't she?
Pretty in pink, isn't she?
All of her lovers all
Talk of her notes and the
Flowers that they never sent
And wasn't she easy
Isn't she pretty in pink?
The one who insists he was
First in the line is the
Last to remember her name
He's walking around in this
Dress that she wore
She is gone, but the
Joke's the same
Pretty in pink, isn't she?
Pretty in pink, isn't she?
Caroline talks to you
Softly sometimes, she says,
"I love you" and "Too much"
She doesn't have anything
You want to steal
Well, nothing you can touch
She waves
She buttons your shirt
The traffic is waiting outside
She hands you this coat
She give you her clothes
These cars collide
Pretty in pink, isn't she?
Pretty in pink, isn't she?

I love going to the hardware shop and looking at all the shiny metal things. I wouldn't know what to do with three-quarters of it, but hardware can be so pretty.

“If hot red is for anger and rage, pink is the color of a soft burning – hot enough to light up the dark corners of sadness and grief, but cool enough to be tender, innocent, open.”

many thanks for all your faves comments and your visits
I love that the rose is surrounded by three small buds though I doubt that they bloomed as the growing season was coming to an end. I'm looking forward to seeing roses again next year.
Thank you for your visits and comments, they're all greatly appreciated. Have a great day!
There were flurries of snow a short while ago 😳😳 and the wind is howling! Nothing else for it but to retire indoors! But this is all that is left of my perfect dandelions from yesterday!
Rhododendron is a genus of 1,024 species of woody plants in the heath family (Ericaceae), either evergreen or deciduous, and found mainly in Asia, although it is also widespread throughout the lowland and montane forests of the Pacific Northwest, California, and the highlands of the Appalachian Mountains of North America. Most species have brightly coloured flowers which bloom from late winter through to early summer. Azaleas are subgenera of Rhododendron. 10640
Here in Florida we are entering the Hurricane season early. Hurricanes damage our wildlife, flora and fauna and our countryside. But one of the most serious problems is over building and under planning. It is time to plan our cities and smaller areas better. Traffic and poor planning are becoming huge problems here in Florida. City, planners must consider many factors, including the economy, the environment, and cultural and transportation needs. They must also study current uses of existing buildings, roads and facilities in their city, as well as how these uses may affect the city in the future. Plus with the threat of a hurricane they must plan well for a hurried exodus and this appears to be coming more and more difficult because of the large expansion of new buildings and population and the poor exodus planning.
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️
