JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON – (March 29, 2023) – Researchers assigned to Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU) San Antonio attended a Predictive Index behavioral assessment conducted by Capt. David Brenner, director, Leader Development Academy, Naval Medical Leader and Professional Development Command (NMLPDC), at the Tri-Service Research Laboratory. The Predictive Index, which was taken by members of the command in December 2022, is a self-report measurement in the form of a 6-10 minute survey that asks a person to choose adjectives that describe their personality. It was developed and validated for use within occupational and organizational populations. NMLPDC utilizes mobile training teams of certified analysts to administer the Predictive Index behavioral assessment to commands of Navy Medicine world-wide. NAMRU San Antonio’s mission is to conduct gap driven combat casualty care, craniofacial, and directed energy research to improve survival, operational readiness, and safety of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel engaged in routine and expeditionary operations. Another year and the flower wall may just become another distant memory for present brides and a fashion faux pas got future! Until then go for it, there's lots of interesting twists to dress your floral fantasy wedding so it doesn't just look like last year! We are already talking to so many brides about their events!
So what's going to be new you ask and how can you make your event unique? It's the million dollar question each year and what we beaver away like mad scientists developing! There's lots of cool stuff - you just need to book a consultation with us!
2016 is going to be a super hot year for weddings! Even more so than 2015. We always get booked up so quickly as most people know that we don't take on many events so if the trends continue, predictions are that most of our key dates will be fully booked by November this year! On the 4th & 5th October 2016, leading international thinkers in the areas of Data, Predictive Models, Technology and Decision making gathered at the RDS, Dublin, for Predict 2016. The speakers, many of whom I managed to photograph, discussed the latest progress in Predictive Modelling and its future – from Data to Software and Hardware technology, plus Predictive Modelling methods and the best examples of Data-driven Decision-making.
The organisers kindly invited me to the Predict event at the RDS but as I arrived a bit early I took few backstage or behind the scenes shots. In case your are interested I used a Sony A7RM2 coupled with a Sony 29-135 full frame lens. The lens does attract a lot of attention which does allow me to to have interesting people … volunteers, students from Brazil, photographers etc.

Recently, I won a football trivia contest by predicting Auburn would score 48 points in their Nov 13th matchup vs Georgia. The final score was 49-31 with Auburn winning.
As a result, John Mueller, Austin BBQ icon, showed up at my apartment with 4lb of BBQ ribs, brisket, pork and sausage and 6 of us feasted heavily on some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted.
Jesus’ prediction of his death was not vague. He told the disciples he would be sentenced to death, that he would be “handed over” to the Gentiles, and that he would be flogged and crucified. And of course, Jesus told the disciples he would rise from the dead on the third day. This would require a miracle far beyond anything Jesus had demonstrated to date.

The organisers kindly invited me to the Predict event at the RDS but as I arrived a bit early I took few backstage or behind the scenes shots. In case your are interested I used a Sony A7RM2 coupled with a Sony 29-135 full frame lens. The lens does attract a lot of attention which does allow me to to have interesting people … volunteers, students from Brazil, photographers etc.

Algorithms are now widely used in different fields to make predictions using data analysis, statistical analysis, and pattern recognition for applications including the purchasing behavior of particular groups, global market developments and even potential crimes. In contrast, the Predictive Art Bot is a specialist in making art forecasts, published daily on Twitter, which are meant to expand the limited human imagination with new, non-human perspectives.

2021, time for a new build. And this time, I wanted to share my early passion for mountain biking. It actually started in 1986, when I owned my first mountain bike. Since then I followed this sport relentlessly, and had the chance to whitness the 90's, sometimes referred to as "the golden age of mountain biking". During those times, every year saw a lot of innovations: some did not survive any real usage while others changed the sport forever. In the early 90's, aluminum frames where hype. One man was still believing in steel, and his World Cup riders helped him prove he was ride, winning a lot of podium and overall titles. And the colors of these frames were worldwide known: Tom Ritchey handcrafted his P-22, P-21 and P-20 team models and the riders had the privilege to have the famous Blue/white/red color scheme. So in 2021, when a friend of mine found a Ritchey Ultra frame in Team Edition Color, an idea popped up: why not build a Neo Retro Bike? A build with components following today's standards, ready to get smashed at without compromise, but every component has to be a tribute to one of those former innovation days.

I predict that within the next 24 hours someone will view my site for the sixty-six thousand, six hundred and sixty-sixth time. There isn't a monetary prize, because I can't afford one, and mainly because I have no way to know exactly who makes that 66,666th post. I can keep a tally every now then between now and when it happens. It is just for fun, and if I think you are the one I'll post your user name for your site, and maybe dedicate my site to you that day.
The count when I started making the little banner was 66,444; so it won't be long now. Delina
P.S. The frame has kind of nice little tiny story about it. When my daughter got married, she and her new husband had put me up in a motel room right by the Ocean, and these flowers were growing right outside my room. They had a touch of Oregon rain, on them. I made the frame for a group called Cadres (frames) on another site. You are welcome to frame any small picture with my frame if you want, just copy your picture into the white part. I'd appreciate if you would acknowledge that I made the frame, but you don't have to even do that. This is one of those ones when the other site said not to have any length on the picture more than 500 wide in order for easier uploading, and less distortion. One of things I like about Flickr is don't have to resize something unless I want to.

In his talk Thomas Nørmark introduces us into the secret mechanisms of future predictions. This has nothing to do with fortune telling but patterns in big data. He illustrates how big data allows us to look into the future and even predict our individual future lives. He shows why you should see this inevitable development as an opportunity rather than a threat.
Thomas Nørmark is the head of innovation at itelligence Nordic. With his team he works on solutions using predictive analysis. He developed a “time machine” consisting of systems and solutions for predicting the future using social media data, object recognition and predictive analysis algorithms. One of his recent programs is to predict the movement of fish along Australia's coast. He hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from Aarhus University and gained extensive experience as SAP software consultant. When he was only nine years old, Thomas ran eight marathons and won bronze medal at The National Chess Championship.

The Paisley UK General Election 2019 held at the Lagoon Centre was predicted to have no surprises when it came to who would win and see the SNP candidates Mhairi Black and Gavin Newlands retain their seats. But there was one spur of excitement when the media were pulled aside and told someone had voted twice and the police under the eagle eyes of along the officials would remove the ballot from the box before the other ballots were counted. Though the suspect ballot its self would still counted since the legitimate person may have voted first and the second voter may have been the fraudster. Plus it was also pointed out there may have been a clerical error or a genuine mistake made, so the vote would stand.
As predicted the SNP did win after a long night waiting for the ballots to be read. So a huge thanks to everyone who took the time to pose for the photos in this photo album.
