La Grande Tête de l'Obiou, ou plus communément l'Obiou, est un sommet situé dans les Préalpes françaises, à peu près à égale distance de Grenoble (Isère) et de Gap (Hautes-Alpes). Avec ses 2 789 mètres d'altitude, c'est le point culminant du massif du Dévoluy.
Monte Baldo 20231106
Monte Baldo is the mountain chain on the east side of Lake Garda. It is almost 40 kilometers long ad it separates Lake Garda from the Val d’Adige.
The name “Baldo” comes from the Lombard Wald, which means “forest” and it was used for the first time in the XII century. Giardino d’Europa (Europa’s Garden) is its second name because of its lush flora and its different climate areas. There are four climate zones and each one has its typical vegetation. Until 700 meter above sea level, there is the mediterranean zone and from 700 to 1500 meter there is the mountain zone. Then, until 2000 meters there is the boreal zone and over 2000 meters the alpine zone.
Le Moléson est un sommet des Préalpes fribourgeoises culminant à 2 002 mètres d'altitude. Il est situé dans le canton de Fribourg, non loin de Bulle et de Gruyères.

Il progetto di conservazione del Grifone, iniziato alla fine degli anni '80 sulle Prealpi friulane, ha lo scopo di contrastare il declino degli avvoltoi sulle Alpi e nell'area adriatica. Per raggiungere questo obiettivo è stato realizzato un punto di alimentazione e sono stati liberati 75 grifoni. Attualmente la colonia conta circa 150 grifoni nel periodo invernale e oltre 300 in quello primaverile - estivo, quando numerosi individui arrivano dalla Croazia e anche da altri Paesi quali Francia, Spagna, Bulgaria, Serbia, etc. Oltre 40 coppie nidificano nella media Valle del Tagliamento.

The conservation project of the Gryphon, which began in the late 1980s on the Friuli Prealps, aims to counter the decline of vultures in the Alps and in the Adriatic area. To achieve this goal a feeding point was built and 75 griffins were released. Currently the colony has about 150 griffons in winter and over 300 in spring - summer, when numerous individuals arrive from Croatia and also from other countries such as France, Spain, Bulgaria, Serbia, etc. Over 40 couples nest in the middle Valle del Tagliamento.
