Locomotive: LSWR Adams O2 Class 0-4-4T W24 "Calbourne".

Location: Ashey Common, Isle of Wight.

Getting closer and filling the frame with the candle and smoke.

This old truck has served its later years as a target for bored local residents.About 50 feet to the left of the truck, there was a pile of 12 gauge shells. From the size of the pile, they AREN'T very good marksman...well it is a 12 gauge after all...

Happy truck/target practice Thursday everyone!

Two young Fallow Deer Bucks sparring during the Rut at Bradgate Park in Leicestershire, no quarter was given, they gave everything chasing each other over a wide area and totally ignoring the general public.

I watched this Guy with this little limb for 20 minutes picking it up and putting it down. There was no other nesting material in the tree. I think he was practicing for next year.

The Blue Angles are stationed in Pensacola, Florida where i live. And the Navy Base is about 2 miles from my house. This morning I walked out into the yard and they were practicing for the 2009 season. This one flew right over the house... They are practicing again tomorrow so hopefully i can get some better details. It's really hard to get a good pic of a jet... but i could watch them all day! They are definitely a piece of my childhood :)

After finally finishing unpacking the obvious next step was to start practicing. Alison pulled her wand from her holster and took a step toward the trunk. Keeping her distance she pushed the trunk's lid open with the tip of her sneakers and quickly jumped back. A grin struck her face and she was ready!

Gabby...............aft and her teammate are practicing for an upcoming race in B.C., Ca in a few weeks. Their strokes are beautiful to watch as the sync. perfectly.

The real gales of November pack a larger punch than this, but the waves made for some nice shots today.

Just fooling around with my new Nikon D500. A bit of a learning curve. :-)

Fighter jets sometimes use Rainbow Canyon to practice low flying maneuvers. It was amazing to watch them even though we only got to see a couple of flights. The Rainbow Canyon is next to Father Crowleys Overlook on the western side of Death Valley National Park. The canyon is also known as the "Star Wars Canyon".

Two weeks before they leave the nest, young ospreys start flapping their wings and trying to get airborne.

Just after cheer practice back in highschool.

Still trying to figure out how to capture the Milky Way. This is just another shot of the same thing in the same place. But, with conditions having been good for shooting this location, I did one more early morning shoot, again just before 1:am this morning. I still don't really know what I am doing, but this time I tried bumping the ISO way up and actually reducing the shutter speed a bit to try to gather more light. I think it helped a little, but it really amplified the vignetting of the lens. Anyway, I am done with this ridiculous 1:am stuff! At least for now.

Beryl is trying to recreate the portal she used to go back in the past.

She's a bit rusty but it looks like it's going well...

This picture is an introduction picture to my next BJD wich I will get from my boyfriend for Christmass... a new entity will enter the world through this portal... evil or good, we shall know soon

>.< I spent 2 hours to make this and it still doesn't look like I wanted it to look.. but at least it looks better then my previous 5 attempts xD

Because of their weight and size, most large waterfowl, such as geese and swans, need a long running start to get airborne.

This young Trumpeter Swan, along with its two siblings take practice runs to build up strength and speed in anticipation of their first flight which should be happening soon.

Snooker practice

Stage II

Pot all reds, each followed by a colour.

Reset everytime you miss or hit a ball other than the one you're attempting to pot.

(I think this night my best run was 7 reds and 7 colours. A far cry from my best run of 11 reds and 10 colours.)

With a total of 36 pots required to clear the table, my 'average best run' is weak at about 14 and my all-time best run of 21 is so close, yet so far. I've read that to be taken seriously as a snooker player, one should be able to clear this practice without too much difficulty. AND, once you've cleared it, you're supposed to reset it and keep going until you miss. I dunno. Maybe I could get there one day if I didn't drink while practicing, but then where would the fun be in that?

This round of Iron Forge has been quite fun, and there’s been some amazing models across the board. I really enjoyed experimenting with the bananas, a huge thanks to all of the people who let me borrow their bananas. It was very appreciated!

After months of weekend practice the house gets burned today. 19* and it's gonna be a cold one. Us wives have chili and breads etc. for afterwards. They are going to need it. This property was purchased and someday a fire hall for the township will sit on this corner lot.

i drew that just a little foreshortening practice
