Out of the city; back to the country. I stopped the car to shoot a group of trees, but found this composition more compelling. Seen in County Mayo, Ireland.

This is truly an amazing item which can not be accurately displayed in a still image. The accompanying HUD allows you to switch between 4 different weapons, these knives, a hammer, a smaller hammer and also a scythe. Each time you switch between the weapons these AMAZING particle effects appear. You can also control the demon horns which have effects of their own plus much more! Imagine my surprise when I showed up to work, and the night train to Milwaukee had the executive E9's for the power on this evening. The E9's had some work done and were put to the test on our train. Needless to say they performed rather nicely.
We had better get a move on, as a summer storm is rolling in quickly from the west.

This power pole is bottom heavy with wires. So the answer to the question, “Do I look fat in this?” is ‘YES’ in this case.

I guess you don't really need me to tell you that the sun was shining on the pylons as a storm was brewing.
The beach chapel of Ayia Thekla (Cyprus) is a modern concrete building, but it sits directly on top of an ancient source of power: a forth century cave chapel. On the vertical intersection of spiritual power from above and below, the Chapel is also right in the middle of more horizontal or secular forces, new grand hotel buildings to the left, and the luxury development of Ayia Napa Marina to the right. The Marina, when finished, will be a meeting point of the super rich. How the Vertical and the Horizontal get along with each other will be an important question.
Abandoned power plant for a former paper factory
The last part of the power plant in this stream shows the old boiler house, which contains two water pipe radiant boilers by Steinmüller, built in 1936 and 1950, with travelling grate firing for hard coal - operating pressure 25 atü. I hope, my English is correct ;-)

Niederaussem Power Station is a lignite-fired power station in the Bergheim Niederaussem/Rhein Erft circle, owned by RWE. It consists of nine units, which were built between 1963 and 2003. It has a total output capacity of 3,864 MW and a net capacity of 3,627 MW. According to the study Dirty Thirty, issued in May 2007 by the WWF, Niederaussem Power Station is the third-worst power station in Europe in terms of the relation of energy efficiency to CO2 emissions.[

Sometimes I like color. Maybe it's the cool blues with the warm steam and clouds. In case you're wondering, this is a combine cycle combustion turbine natural gas power station. It provides base-load electric power to the 100,000 citizens of the city of Burbank and powers Hollywood. Anyhow, I captured this on my evening walking commute.
