Shoreham is a working Port and this building fits in so well with all aspects of the harbour

One of only two early morning shoots that I managed to squeeze in while in Europe. This was taken close to Karlstein Castle.
Took a walk around the old power plant north of Beloit, on Townline Road, yesterday. The building is gone now, leaving the candy-cane smoke stacks, scrubbers, and framework.
Springfield Armory Museum, Springfield Massachusetts.
The Springfield Armory was a vast set of buildings with tools originally powered by water, later by steam, all running from a central distribution center. Bells like these were rung to warn the workers that power was coming up and the machinery was starting.
