Across the Hanalei River and beyond an un-named but oft photographed waterfall, you can pick out the powerline and road.
Dynamically generated utility poles with randomly generated powerlines. Initial study for a project Id like to flesh out to include a large variety of poles, consistent wire creation that spans several nodes, the occasional flock of lazy birds, and audio responsiveness.

this is the rivercrossing at the Haringvliet bridge
its the highest rivercrossing in the netherlands
towering at 145/150 meters.
Ironicly the standard pylons are one of the smallest types used and this is the only line using this type.
I'm not sure how his safety rope was attached. At this moment, he was tying another rope to the branch he's on, so that he could saw that branch off (after he'd moved back a ways) while someone pulled on this new rope to keep the branch from falling on his truck.
On the other side, this line continues to Lafayette, another Cleco 138kv goes to Opelousas, and a Slemco 138kv line heads to Eunice
They decided to go with sidemounted insulators, probably because the new pole is much further to the side than the old one.

this is one of the biggest types used in holland.
its only used for 1 line.
In my opinion this type is one of the most fascinating ones ive seen so far.
Near my house. Just a powerline. If you look to the left of the pole, you can see the now cut cord with which our neighbors stole our cable.
