Demco is the cooperative that services a territory between the Mississippi river and I-55 in LA. Unfortunatly this is the only Demco pole I found on my trip today

During my visit to the Iron Range, I found these large powerlines interesting. Despite the large hills and cliffs of the region, these tall brown structures still tower over the trees and climb the iron-filled hills formed a billion years ago.
Steel poles in the median that double as lamp poles. These are mainly in the Space Center Area. New replacements are plain wood poles
I'm only guessing at the voltage but sometimes these act distribution sometimes they act like transmission. Somebody give me an idea please?
I'd swear this is a new pole except for the fact that Entergy doesn't use black poles anymore and there's no mound at the base. The deadend and switches are new though.
Tuesday morning I drove to West Shore Parkway and Humpback Rd to clear some more trail with weed-wacker and 10"saw blade. Looks good.
