The sunset tonight was pretty while it was happening but the color quickly faded as soon as the sun went below the horizon.

There are several small waterfalls along the way when the water is higher in the spring. Toobers can be seen floating lazily in this aerial photo. The bottom of this mediteranean waterway frequently contains pure white sand and little whirlpools. During the dryer season, one must portage the waterfalls crawling over the limestone rock. The cypress trees magnificently droop over the river giving shade.
