Grant's Tomb, what is now Sakura Park, and International House on an old post card. Except for much larger trees this view is pretty much the same today.
enjoyed olivia's bbq at the silent movie theatre then watch the first half hour of 1963's Hootenanny Hoot on the big screen! ps. david usually looks not scary.
This was actually made from a wc demo...but it was done in this flat, primitive style so I used my sharpies. I like this style and I like the way this turned out...hope Sandy likes it too!

Mom had posted all of the cards I sent from the road, one from evey state/province I travelled through.
My great grandmother Gussie had plenty of suitors when she was younger. She collected a huge number of decorated post cards from between 1905 and 1917 of different people that sent her cards through those years. I now have those post cards. This one always makes me snicker. It is addressed to my great grandmother and on the back of the post card is a drawing of a man gawking at a lady. In pencil, my great grandfather, had written, "I see leg." Flirtation through the mail. My grandmother responded with a photo of herself showing leg. That was a bit racy for the times I guess.
A lápiz, mi bisabuelo escribió: “Veo pierna”.
