One brown bear enjoying the pool at the zoo. The black vultures are always around, they made the area their habitat, too.

Thanks for your visit and taking the time to comment so I can visit your photos, too... very much appreciated! Have a great day!

AT THE POOL

Happiness was a day at a pool

in the grass ringed round

with trees up to the sky

here I was god’s and my

grandpa’s lad – both died,

happiness is dangerous

in the evening the pool has lain down

so mirror-smooth that sky, trees and grass

repeat themselves below the ground

fear and longing both ask me

to come back

A rock pool at Haycock Point. Quite a few steep steps down to this large rock platform and then a sloping rock face, which is okay if not wet and if you have plenty of grip on your shoes. The platform contains some varied geology and is quite an interesting place. Haystack Rock is located beyond it and separated from the platform. Beowa National Park on the Far South Coast of NSW. (Formerly Ben Boyd NP).

Morning Glory Pool is a hot spring in the Yellowstone Upper Geyser Basin of the United States

One of the many amazing thermal features you can see at Yellowstone National Park.

Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of this one but I love its colour

THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE A COMMENT IT’S MUCH APPRECIATED.

Trouble with a capital "T", rhymes with "B", stands for "Bill".

My college roommate, Bill, playing pool at one of the remaining campus bars from our day. This, some downtime between events to visit and revisit one of our campus bar pastimes at our 40th reunion weekend.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

One of the many geothermal jewels in Yellowstone's West Thumb Geyser Basin. Abyss is the deepest pool known in Yellowstone and received its name for its abyss-like depth.

West Thumb Geyser Basin is one of the smallest geyser basins in Yellowstone yet its location along the shore of Yellow-stone Lake ranks it as the most scenic.

One of the deeper hot springs in the park, Abyss Pool descends to 53 feet (16 meters). It varies from turquoise blue to emerald green to various shades of brown.

Hope your week is off to a great start!

RKO_3082-2. A nice wildebeest at the water meadows in Amboseli National park, Kenya. Despite the water at the meadows, many wildebeest and zebra died as the grasses they eat didn't grow due the lack of rain.

Opalescent Pool in Black Sands Basin, one of the ever-changing thermal wonders of Yellowstone. On my previous winter visit, the colors were so muted they were hardly visible, but they were very showy this time. Selective black and white processing :)
