The pool we used most often as it was near our room.
Louis has finally decided pool water is OK to swim in. He's had no problems swimming in ponds, but has wanted nothing to do with that hole filled with water outside. So I thought Tor could get some swimming exercise in today........ wrong.
This lap pool is the centre of attention in this beautiful Paddington terrace. Not only a lap pool but a well used swimming pool.
We decided to go swimming in Kampala. From left to right: Cynthia from TZ, Sandrine from Burundi, me and Arnaud from Burundi.
Arbroath's swimming pool opened in June, 1934, with more than 4,000 spectators in the packed seats. The ceremony was conducted by The Earl of Strathmore, The Arbroath Herald said at the time that much of the available roof space was also in use. The banner blowing in the breeze appears to say Arbroath Pool.
Another view of the new recreational pool. The lap pool is back behind the white life preserver on the back wall. The 30-person hot tub is in the back left corner (where the guy in the red shorts is sitting).
Debris entering the pool is one of the largest sources of contaminants (the other being the people who swim in it!). So when not in use, cover the pool with a pool blanket. Besides eliminating a lot of debris, there are many other benefits to a pool cover that make them a cost effective choice. Regular maintenance will prevent the need for pool “shocking” and actually save you a lot of time in the long run buy addressing problems before they get out of hand.
