So… this house is kinda special to me. Or maybe memorable? I’m not sure what you’d call it. Backstory! Dustin and I had driven into Mississippi a few times for various reasons, either to explore or go to a state park or check out something he found on Facebook marketplace that he wanted to buy. Anyway, on this one particular highway, sits this house. I’ve always wanted to stop but we’ve always been tired or pressed for time so we never did. He even offered a couple of times to turn around and go back. Never happened. I might have tried to photograph it from the car or something but finally, this trip to a state park with just the kids and myself a few short months after his passing, I finally stopped and took all the pictures I wanted. I didn’t trespass much - stayed in the driveway/turnaround. But it’s special. I feel drawn to this house.

I shared the Polaroid Go version a while back. This is the 600 film version. Just a random mask bought a couple of spooky seasons ago.

My little witch needed some nice reddish-orange leaves for a potion last spooky season. Wonder what she’ll be up to this season?

I didn’t intentionally set out to save this for Shark Week but here we are lol. Sadie loves this shark hand puppet from Walmart and she was playing around at the table and I had to snap this of her expression.

I think the sign used to say for sale… just a winter field and clouds that I liked the look of. Heading towards Mount Pleasant, Michigan on backroads.
