Shot at 3200 ISO as a JPEG file and basic processing in Lightroom 4.4. Even after the basic processing the picture's colors look kind of muddy and the details look mushy because of this camera's aggressive built in noise reduction.
One of the many cameras that sparked the instant camera legal battle between Kodak and Polaroid in the 80s which Polaroid eventually won (obviously). The indent in the front originally had the "Colorburst 100" label, but has since fallen off.
Manufactured from 1978-1980.

Not the best photos, the venue doesn't allow photography, so you grab a shot on a small camera as the situation allows. I don't understand this policy, because having the artist on social media not only helps spread the word about their talent but also gives the audience something as a reminder of the special moment. I guess too many people have made a spectacle in doing the "selfie thing" and that is too bad for those of us who take the process seriously. Can you image what the memories of the Beatles (and many other bands from the past) would be like if no one had been allowed to shoot photos during their career?
Louth has suffered from flooding several times in recent years; work has just started on a flood alleviation scheme. I hope to be able to follow the work.
no digital enhancement here...her sweet eyes do not look this bad, except with flash, but she doesn't look puppyish these days...Peep is going to be 13 in March! An oldie but goodie, she still has the spirit of a puppy most of the time!
She is in the serious,"I am so good, I'll do most anything (rollover, speak, shake, put my head down, circle, or all of the above one right after the other!) just to get a cookie!!! :D

After his breakthrough supporting role in the 2000 film, "Castaway", Wilson struggled to keep his momentum as a Hollywood presence. Insiders speculate that Wilson's seething bitterness over being completely snubbed at the Academy Awards -- even missing from the guest list -- was a key factor for his stumbling retreat from gratitude of how far he made it. Wilson was internationally recognized for his dramatic and complete transformation from a hopeful center of attention at a beach party to a deflated silent accessory serving an obsessive Fed Ex executive that gives him a makeover while he slowly loses his shaky grasp on reality.
Wilson's public behavior spiraled out of control until he got a break at Play It Again Sports. But it was to be only a brief glimmer of hope in what would become another celebrity downward spiral. Wilson sought treatment for depression that ultimately became a reported dependence on helium inflations. By 2006, Wilson had disappeared from the tabloid radar -- that is until late 2010, when he was spotted by a maintenance of way worker in the outskirts of Chicago posted on a blog that Wilson is working as a railroad bull.
When approached for a brief interview, Wilson was barely recognizable from a decade of resentment and hard knocks. Wilson reacted to general questions with aggression and denial, threatening a reporter with violence that he "reserved only for the likes of soccer players and that Oscar gobbler, Tom Hanks."
I have learned that I need to look for more clues about what a certain plant/tree is when I photograph it.
I took these shots in 2012, on April Fools Day, but did not get any good shots of the bark or other possible identification aspects.
I am between Box Elder or Sugar Maple, according to a post and discussion between Flickr friend Deborah Platt (TrekOhio.com) and another Flicker member, Tatters*, who runs a flower identification group. Link below ...
