I removed the plug of my chi from this outlet yesterday to plug my blow dryer in instead. Of course I was home alone and it scared the shit out of me when the sparks flew everywhere. It flipped the breaker and cut off power to our bedroom and bathroom.

27. This is my two trying to be quiet whilst I grab a quick 40 winks on the sofa this afternoon. Just come off a long week of nights and have to try and turn the body clock around quickly for my days off. I got up after just a couple of hour sleep but started feeling it early afternoon. I thought I'd get a good hour's peace and quiet if I set them up with some games but it turns out they just encouraged a lot of really loud whispers "shhhhh dad's trying to sleep" and fits of giggles.

They're heavy, so they lean forward a bit, which is a little annoying, but whatever.

On The Tube I often stand by the empty seats on the platform with my camera upside-down at hip level. People happily sit down right next to me and act completely naturally as I was stood there before they sat down. This delightful lady was no more than two feet or so from my camera and didn't feel a thing :)
