Soft, black, sooty, dry-looking deposits indicate a rich air fuel mixture, weak ignition or wrong heat range spark plug (too cold).
This was a simple shot as well. These massive plugs were from one of the lights at the studio. We used them for the scene where he is in front of the wall of speakers.

But a good shape, shadow, form and line study for me. Bringing it back to something more simple.
The original sketch was drawn with a 4H pencil and then overdrawn and shaded with an HB pencil at different weights.

Epoxy spike hole plugger failed. Old school - wood plugs inserted by hand! RTP-0772 plugger will ride over these driving them flush with the adzed surface.
I landed in Bangkok just before midnight on christmas eve; it was technically christmas day by the time I got to the hotel. I had 24 hours in which to get a boogie (failed - club shut at 2am), shop (success despite lack of baggage allowance) and massage (yep!).
These plug sockets accept any type of plug. I first saw them on 4-way power boards in Singapore a couple of years ago. It struck me as the most obvious thing in the world for hotels to use them. Finally. Thank you to the Novatel Siam, Bangkok.
