seasons greeting to you all!

a winter solstice full moon with cold kelvin and shorter shutter speeds

A Long-exposure at Mid-Night.

after deciding to try shooting without NR I found new freedom without being bogged down with camera saving times, although the jpegs where awful the raws still had some noise so other than a bit of spot removal in LR this is near enough SOOC but not..

Overclocked the old wheel

After our new LED light stick arrived on Friday we have been itching to get it out of the box, fired up and see what sort of results it can produce in long exposure images - this is the last of four test images shot tonight in the living room of my house.

Looks damn good and we're looking forward to having some fun with this new toy out on location soon.

Two flashes at 1/4 power.

Shot with Canon 5d MarkII. c/y to ef adapter and Carl Zeiss 50mm f1.4 t* planar lens. Planart1450.

In association with @edwin kroon

Shot handheld sitting on a cold basement floor, lit only using an Edison bulb to throw a starburst pattern on the concrete wall. Manual focus on the subject, 24mm, ISO100, f/11, 1/2 sec exposure to allow for the movement.

#349 Time is ticking and the final phase of my project begun.. I experimented a bit in the tabletop area this evening. This shot is my favorite, also because it is 100% form the sensor!

Technical: Tabletop, f/2.8, 2s, ISO100, 100mm Macro.

I chose to do a project for 2012 to improve my photography. The plan is to take pictures on as many days as possible and post a picture of 2012 each day.

Man last night was fun!!!!!!!! We met up with Pixelated~Light and Lomo-Cam a little after Midnight at Moore's Crossing Bridge for some Light Painting. It was one humid night but the Moon was at her best and we got some pretty damn nice shots. One of the best things about meeting up with the ATX Light Junkies is we always learn a lot and its always a great adventure, Even Team Jacob showed up for a bit lmao :)

It`s been a while and to mark the passing of 1 year since i first spun the wool, I thought I would hook up with a few heads an spin some wool!
