This photo is SOOC, there is no editing, just a resize (SOOC = Straight Out Of Camera).

"L’affaire Moro", Leonardo Sciascia, 1978

After dinner, music, not a lot of light, a couple of red wines and the hand drifts to a camera ... uncropped, darks lifted a tad tasol.

EXPLORE #152... 06/17/09.

O.K., this is no longer an experiment.

I went outside this evening and took some shots..... I quite like this one.

So, I pretty much just waved a candle around to get this photo. I was sitting in my living room, thinking about how I could just sit and watch fire flicker, how the light twitches with eagerness to find more oxygen to consume and I started thinking about what it would look like if I tried to mimic the random movement. I think we're a lot like fire, random and unpredictable. I wish this photo was a little more in focus, but I really liked my face in it. P.S I don't actually recommend waving a lit candle around, because it'll probably spill on you and burn you, and get in your carpet (true story) Gahhhh!!!

Up in the tower, with narrow windows and no electricity on, there were corners and nooks and crannies that were very dark... I had fun....

Ansel Adams said, "Yosemite Valley, to me, is always a sunrise, a glitter of green and golden wonder in a vast edifice of stone and space." He must have stood right here and watched the sunrise as I did. What a grand way to start a day, awed as the morning light turned the tops of the "stone edifices" into glittering mounds of gold. This scene, this moment, has probably been photographed a million times, so it's a cliché, but still one of my personal favorite shots from our recent Yosemite trip. HCS!

I'm putting this into the "Playing with Light" scavenger hunt, though I'm not sure if I was playing with light or if the light was playing with me.

The City Life towers are a kind of meridian sundial clock. When the PWC (right) tower shines it's 8.00 a.m.. When the Isozaki (center) tower shines, it's 10.00 a.m.

You can check your clock time, very sharp indeed!

{115~365 ~ April 25th 09} Do you know how hard it is to create love hearts with a laser pointer in the dark lol :)))) Oh my what fun. I need to get a life HAHA!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhoo, I was playing with light and creating different patterns with a longer exposure and this is the result.

Can you feel DeLove???

I am very relieved this afternoon as one of my dogs Dasher ( hence the name) got out the gate and was away most of the day.... I have been really worried and upset...been out searching for him only to see him come trotting down the middle of the road at dinner time....black as the ace of spades...(he is a white dog as most of you know).. and covered in oil....dirt and mud..and a huge grin. He is now locked in the laundry where all bad doggies go.... phew....I nearly killed him when I saw him. I have no idea where he was as I looked everywhere. So even though I DeLove my doggie, he is in DeShit with me at the moment :)))

Hope your weekend is going well xx

more orb practice 😊 one day I will perfect this!

My friend spun this one.

This image is inspired and dedicated to my beautiful yoga teacher Marisa whom I have been practicing with for almost 8 years. She is an amazing ashtanga and vinyasa flow teacher. Saturday's class always starts off with pranayama breathing; the breath of life, the energy of the soul.

This plant did a good job of capturing the images on the curtains in the background. Photo of a photo of a shadow. Sort of. What fun. Cheers. St.John's, NL.

Cripta San Sepolcro, Chiesa di San Sepolcro. Milano

Here is one of Dave taken at the same session.
