This is the streetlight outside my house.
It's an overlay of two separate images - done in camera as I don't have PS.
Not sure where the green lines have come from but I like them! I think I need to check my filter/lens is clean.
(trust me, neon on broadway in nashville is quite cliche...)
for mr lucky and his mrs. lucky - congratulations on completing your 365 my friend...a song just for you from the country music legend...
Wishing that I had my daughter slightly more in focus, but it was the bubbles and light I was after. We were quite surprised to see the trail of rainbow bokeh bubbles floating into the sky.
Happy Weekend to All!

Something New
A divine embrace a soul does crave!
Such understanding this heart cannot contain!
Alone do tears flood the dry ground!
What shall quench this thirst?
The gift of old knowledge becomes a new weight.
Amongst cold and deaf ears loneliness comes.
A silent voice haunts sleep and burdens a soul.
Fresh wonder reveals layers of hope.
Peace settles as a voice takes shape.

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.
I don't know what kind of flower this is but all the other little buds are part of the same single flower. Several of these were among flowers I got for my (29th again and again) birthday so took lots of images of the different flowers.
Was also playing around with a little LED torch to light the flower
A friend is like a flower,
a rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched.
A friend is like an owl,
both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like a heart that goes
strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world
if we didn't have a friend. - By Adrianne S
