I was taking pictures of the mirror my grandfather had carved and DD spent a lot of time playing with the big mirror, a hand mirror, and all the light coming in the east window.

Be Your Own Beloved Selfies - Day 18 - Playing with light. It is SUPER stormy here in Victoria this week, and each day I only had about an hour's respite from torrential rain. Here I am making good use of it on a photo-walk down by the Sea. It's incredibly windy, and oh-so beautiful out. PS. If you look closely, you can see the one and only kite-surfer out today).

This is a very funny experiment that we tried. It is called Painting with light... In absolutel darkness you start shooting with looong exposure and the object is lit by a moving torch. This is what happens in the end:)
