One from the archives. This is probably the wildest sunset I have shot so far. I have tried processing this image several times but I never really got it right. And not this time either, but this version will have to do. I normally try to control the highlights in the sky but it was impossible not blowing the sky up and still make it look somewhat ok. So I settled with this partly blown version :)
I almost came home with one of these, which were bearing Bromeliad plants on their backs, but came home with a tomato plant instead. A nice day out at one of my favourite nurseries.

Plant Hall was formerly known as the Tampa Bay Hotel, which was a 500+ room resort hotel opened in 1891 by Henry B. Plant near the terminus of his rail line. The building was designed by architect J.A. Wood who also planned the old Hillsborough County Courthouse.
