On Saturday, the Cedar College oval transformed in to a model plane spectacular as more than 270 people, including 140+ kids, from all around the community came to participate in this very special family event, running over 4 sessions.
With help from mums and dads … kids assembled their very own rubber band powered planes … to then challenge each other for the longest and most accurate flights, displaying amazing tricks and aerobatics … we had an absolute blast … awesome fun!
We had rubberband driven planes, paper planes, remote control planes, stories about planes and distance and accuracy challenges.

This is the plane we flew to Auckland on. After we boarded we sat on the tarmac for 3 hours as we had extra passengers to take and our baggage got held up at the other end. Nice huh?
