(the plane is the speck at 4 o'clock moon time which flew into this shot un-noticed).

As twilight came on the moon had a growing number of followers out on the heath, including a couple setting up a little camp with candles in jars, and someone I over heard asking 'is it going to get larger?'

this is where southwest said the smoking wing was...haha

Platanus is a small genus of trees native to the Northern Hemisphere. The hybrid London Plane has proved particularly tolerant of urban conditions. The tree is commonly known as the 'plane' in England and as 'sycamore' in North America.

Play area maintaining the theme. Hornchurch Country Park is on the site of RAF Hornchurch.

There was a guy flying a remote control plane over the playground at the park on Thursday. It was pretty cool.

in the billabong display area, this used to have skeletons falling out of the crashed plane, I guess they were a bit creepy

I went for a short walk with my macro lens and ring-lite. Seed capsule from a plane tree.

Plane Pull competition at UAL Family Day at San Francisco Airport on 10/9/2011

Oakden Baptist Church Planes day.

On Saturday, the Cedar College oval transformed in to a model plane spectacular as more than 270 people, including 140+ kids, from all around the community came to participate in this very special family event, running over 4 sessions.

With help from mums and dads … kids assembled their very own rubber band powered planes … to then challenge each other for the longest and most accurate flights, displaying amazing tricks and aerobatics … we had an absolute blast … awesome fun!

We had rubberband driven planes, paper planes, remote control planes, stories about planes and distance and accuracy challenges.

The first plane of a plane that is going to land

not even one of the closest I've seen.

This is the plane we flew to Auckland on. After we boarded we sat on the tarmac for 3 hours as we had extra passengers to take and our baggage got held up at the other end. Nice huh?

The iphone isn't great for shots like this because I couldn't see the plane through the viewfinder at all. I just had to 'wing it.'
