Position #346 July 28, 2007 Explore/Interestingness. Thank you all!

This lovely blossom has been my screensaver for about a week now, so it is a joy to see it every day.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that commented, faved and awarded this photograph.

Can't understand why I did not up load this on Valentine's day?

There are a couple of blemishes on the petals which could easily be clone out but somehow, I think they add to the charm of the flower.

It was actually painful to see my lovely porch flowers covered in snow this morning. The pots were too heavy to bring inside so we will wait to see which ones were tough enough to brave the cold, wind and snow that we had. I am still longing for autumn so lets hope it warms again. (Not that great a shot but it was COLD.)

In Portugal, instead of "sweet dreams" we say "pink dreams". I have no idea what kind of flower this is... but liked the result of processing it a bit with picasa! Is it too over the top?
