Much better Large On Black

I was in Flushing Meadow Park yesterday taking some spring stuff and spotted this pink beauty. Unfortunately, the flowers were in an awkward position where if you stand up you wouldn't get the right angle, but if you knee down, you'd be too far away from them to get a close up shot (you know one of those time you with your DSLR got a top viewfinder). So, I did some experiment with this shot by placing my camera right underneath them and shoot without looking at the viewfinder. Took me couple shots to get it right, but I'm thrilled with the result. Gotta love those pink bokeh!

Pink Azaleas are blooming all around town at the moment. I took a few shots ... well, lots actually ... near the Bowling Club when I picked up my husband. He had enough time for a power nap!

I think this variety is called Alphonse Anderson. It is a hardy variety which explains why there are so many in flower in town at the moment.

I hope someone will remind me what this is. It is growing in my back garden next to the peonies but it isn't a peony.

Earlier today I posted one with blue background. I think I like this black better. Notice the slight dusting of pollen.

I love hydrangea - be prepared (when the rest of them come out) for many more different colours.

Apparently it depends on the soil whether acidic or alkaline which determines the colour of the plant. Just don't ask me which type of soil turns them blue and which pink :-)

Ok, I googled and seems the more acidic the soil, the bluer the bloom :-)

Sometimes you can find pink hepaticas as well.

Thanks to everyone who has visited my stream. My computer gave out which means I have no access to my photos stored on there. I will still be active in my groups while I search for an answer to this dilemma on my trusty little laptop computer :-)

Last minute order. Mum asked for pink and purple themed cupcakes for little Victoria turning 4 today. This is what I came up with. Mum absolutely loved them when she saw them.

A batch of 20 Pink satin cupcakes : White chocolate and raspberries, iced with Strawberry Swiss buttercream and decorated with sugar paste toppers : Crown, ballet shoes, blossoms, butterflies and the number 4.

Oq posso dizer? É Perfeito!

Confesso que de todos os meus glitters, ele é o que mais me encantou até agora, deveria se chamar Magic Glitter pq ele encanta demais rs

A cor dele nem consigo descrever, mas vejo um lilás com azul e um verde amarelo, a base dele é rosinha beemmm clarinho, quase transparente, então acredito que dê pra fazer muitas combinações, ele tem glitters pequenos e hexagonais, e algumas estrelinhas que dão um charme a mais!

Isso tudo sem contar que o novo vidrinho da Nyx é divino! Dá gosto de ter, é lindo, é maior, a formula tá mais encorpada e o pincel está mil vezes melhor.
