This is for my Mum’s friend. She is making the cake and asked if I could make her this little baby to go on top.
I have made this baby many times before but never in pink.
I got the idea for this baby from a book by Karen Davies.
Taken on a Canon 500d
I wanted to start a portrait set on my flickr, and this was the first one I created.
I'm quite proud of the work i did on her hair here haha..

How lovely are these tiny ruffly beauties? They feel like tiny helicopters with outer space antennae. But so delicate, so wonderfully toned from white edges to deep rosy throats.

We have only one stem of this pink lily that comes up every year and is always about a month or so behind the other lilies. I thought our storms might get to it before I could.

Pretty pink felt make for a little different ornament. This would be fun to give to a teenager so they can start their own ornament collection. It can even be kept out after Christmas--who would know?? LOL The little angel charm has words on the back "made for an angel".
One of Canada's naturally occurring orchids, the Pink Lady Slipper is also referred to as the Moccasin Flower because of its shape.
