I couldn't decide which version I liked best, so here is the original....

A Chickadee feeding on pine cones....

I spent a lot of time fighting with my camera for this shot. The lens wanted to focus on anything but the little delicate bits of pine. Eventually, I switched it to manual focus and hoped my eyesight was good enough to do the job.

Arches National Park, Utah

Located in the Devils Garden area, this is beautiful hike with many arches, spires and hoodoos.

Roussillon , Provence , France

Situated in the heart of one of the biggest ochre deposits in the world, Roussillon is famous for its magnificent red cliffs and ochre quarries. The red, yellow and brown shades of the earth form a striking contrast with the lush green pinetrees. The vivid blue of the Provençal sky and the exceptional quality of light make this a magical site. It is like an artist's pallet, with the infinite combinations of colours varying from yellow to purple with all the shades of pink and red inbetween.

Yes this weekend we Welcome Spring.

And for those of us who suffer allergies it also means here comes the pollen. Technically the pollen has already arrived in our area but there is definitely more on the horizon!

*** Pine tree pollen cones seen at a nearby arboretum during our brief visit.

Happy Falls Friday. The hike to Fairy Falls is an easy 4.5 mile round trip hike with very little elevation climb. The trail to the falls includes a pleasant walk through lodgepole pines. I only had my long lens with me when I hiked the trail, so shot the falls from a distance. Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA, July 2025

I had been attempting to capture the faint double rainbow behind me when I turned around I saw this scene. I quickly switched my shooting approach to the Skink pinhole disc attachment.

Not clear if it was a logging or farm road but it just narrows into the distance.

just when i think i've seen it all, nature fills me again with wonder: worlds within raindrops, stories within patterns, lessons within silence.

I took the name Green Destiny from - well there is such a sword called Green Destiny.

It is green because you keep twisting it, it's an ancient skill, you keep twisting it and knocking it and twisting it until it is very elastic and light.

p.s: i'm a kungfu movie mania... i hope you know Ang Lee...

Of all days of all, I was challenged at the day of Christmas Eve to go out in the forrest and take a nice photography in the middle of the snow storm. Here is one result, in my photostream, you will find others. What is amazing, is that there is a lot of motives and so much beauty out there in the bad weather... I love it!
