Previously unpublished shot from January 2018. Enjoy!

This is my 15 year pin, given for continuous annual membership In the local Veterans of Foreign Wars post. It has been stuck on the side of my espresso machine for decades. I served in the US Air Force in Vietnam and Thailand 1971 & 72.

The pin measures 1/2 x 5/8 inch and the total frame is about an inch.

... stayed home 😊

I've had this little doggie broach for years. I cant remember where I got it - maybe from one of my aunties, but I love it, and have kept it safe all these years.

Street photography from a small town in England. Captured in April 2017 while on my way to visit my father in hospital during the last weeks of his life.

This man clearly wears his political affiliations on his chest. "Don't let Europe Rule Britannia", "Bollocks to Europe" and "English and Proud" pin badges leave no room for ambiguity.

So if Russia plays the long game, wants to destabilise western democracies and sow division, would it want Brexit? Follow the threads, follow the names, follow the money. The evidence is out there and although not conclusively proven, if you dig deep enough into the root of so many of our modern ills - Russian money is at the heart of it. Is a Brexit voter an unknowing Russian asset?

I know some of you hate me getting political in my comments but there is so much evidence that the west has been well and truly played by Russia that it would be remiss to ignore it. This has been going on for years.

The evidence is out there. Follow the threads. Follow the names. Follow the money.

Never been a pin collector, never will be.

But here is one I got as freebie merchandising for taking part to a design conference by "Smashing", in Freiburg-im-Breisgau in Germany, a few years ago, representing their mascot, a fancy cat with a moustache.

Small pin badge (about 1 cm wide), seen from close. I got it when I was a child and I even don't remember who gave it to me. I know, that it is the symbol of Canada, but I've never been in Canada and my parents too :)

The Helsingør Pigegarde - Elsinore Girls Marching Band (Denmark) performed at the Rose Parade in Pasadena on New Year's Day and gave a special performance for MonteCedro the next day. Less than a week later, Altadena was devastated by the Eaton Fire. I am leaving a few links to their performances and their pictures here at MC are in my portfolio. They gave is these cute pins to remember them.

I have supported Sheffield Wednesday Football Club as long as I can remember with my father taking me to my first match when I was three years old! He did employ a contingency plan of taking my favourite model cars along with us, wise man.

This season they have all sorts of trouble, all associated with the Thai owner of the club. He just refuses to sell, whilst the club is suffering many problems both on and off the pitch. Anyone know of hitman who loves football and needs a job?

This little badge or pin as it can be called is quite old, having bought it in the 70’s.

I don't know what kind of message the artist was sending with this fancy enamel pin, but I think it's perfect for Pride Month 2025.

Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland.

Previously unpublished shot from August 2017. These two guys, I assume on their way to the 'Pride Village' on Glasgow Green, proudly sporting their pin badges of the pride flag, bear pride and HIV/AIDS awareness.

Love is love. Enjoy.

This shot represents over 900 uploaded photographs from my 'previously unpublished' archives since the start of the pandemic. There are reasons beyond Covid that are currently keeping me from street photography but I am so deeply grateful that you have all supported me throughout this period. Needless to say that I am now starting to run out of previously unpublished shots. What I will do when that happens if I am still unable to shoot street, I really don't know. Please know, however, that your support has meant the world to me. Stay safe everyone.

This image is approx 1 inch square. It shows a service pin comprising a British Crown, the flag of the Royal Army Medical Corps and the Union Flag of the UK. The dates of serviced are shown on the banner under the crown.

Richard Nixon was the first Presidential Candidate that I voted for with my coming of age as he promised to end the U. S. involvement with The Viet Nam War. Many of us still living have wounds one way or another from that period. We all know the aftermath... and I know now that MAGA really stands for Make America Grim Again and the younger generation will have to come to their own self determination regards what elected leaders, whether liberal or conservative demands are presented to them. For many of us seniors who have given it all for our country and family... our last E Ticket will be most welcomed...
