La pioggia è bella perchè e l'unico momento nel quale puoi piangere caminando a testa alta.....

The rain is so beautiful and the only time when you can cry walking with our heads held high.....

Originating in the West Indies, Mexico, and Central and South America, the flower is known botanically as Eustoma grandiflorum. The common name comes from the Greek words lysis, meaning 'dissolution' and anthos, meaning 'flower' Lisianthus is also known as eustoma. Colours include white, light and dark pink, lavender and deep purple. Double and single-flower varieties exist.

Many people do not know what it is, but everyone loves it!

THANX, M, (*_*)

I came up with this title because of the bubble "strings" connecting the first 3 bubbles to the wand--also because I made my own bubble solution out of warm water, dishwashing detergent, and a bit of glycerin after she finished the first bottle! No need to pay for a new bottle.

One thing I like about this is that you can see the reflection of our home in the bubbles, especially in the large size.

"Shine on"

"Shine on", guiding light--

I see your lighted beacon, shining "bright".

I don't have a boat, and I'm not out at sea--

But I "feel" as though your light,

is guiding "within" me.

Daylight, is your time of rest and sleep--

But when dusk appears,

my sense of safety you keep.

Your light is strong, shining bold and bright--

It can be seen for many miles, your "guiding" light.

Whether arriving from the sea, or standing real near--

Your light shines bright,

dissolving all "sense" of fear.

"Shine on", guiding light--

I feel safe, with a sense of home,

when I see your "bright" beacon light.

Hippeastrum, these plants are popularly but erroneously known as Amaryllis and are cultivars of bulbous plants in the family Amaryllidacea.

The botanic name Amaryllis is taken from a shepherdess in Virgil's pastoral "Eclogues"(An eclogue is a poem in a classical style on a pastoral subject. Poems in the genre are sometimes also called bucolics. Virgilius wrote the Bucolica, consisting of 10 Eclogues).

As a flower symbol it has come to mean "Dramatic", which seems most fitting here!

Hippeastrum is a popular bulb flower for indoor growing, it is Greek for "horseman's star" (also known today as "knight's star").

Another Macro+++.

I am doing a series... with a purpose...

I love the curves and lines in this.

Hope you do too.

Have a great w-e and thanx for your comments and visits, M, (*_*)

Yesterday I noticed the water fountain in our front yard was low with water, then I saw this ladybug floating on top. I rescued it, and placed it on a leaf of the sago palm for a while in the sun to dry out. Watching as it opened and closed it's colorful wing covers as it dried of it's wings, taking pictures of the event. After about 25 minutes, I put my finger close and it crawled on it as I took a series of images before it flew away. This wonderful ladybug was very lucky today and I also was lucky to get some awesome images of such a beautiful creature of nature. The ladybug gets to live for another day.
