I drove past this lone tree a number of times while out in the Palouse region, and I had to make a point of stopping at least one of those times.
Heading out for the next few weeks. Just about 5,000 miles south/southwest from here, and hopefully returning with plenty of new pics.
Thanks for looking!

Another colorful Texas sunset, as the clouds change to a pinkish/red color, with the blue sky for added contrast.
Notice the sliver of the Moon an added bonus to this Awesome sunset Indeed.

Ice was the result of an 11 degree night. Used a polarizing filter to get the long exposure. This waterfall is only about 12 inches tall, but closeup gives impression of bigger falls. Leaves give hint of scale.

Shooting into the sun through a plane window isn't the best, but the massive Kahiltna Glacier shows itself winding through the Alaska Range.
It is over 40 miles long and over a 1.5 miles wide here.

BFF...Malaysia China Friendship Garden in Kuching is built to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China. The park is tastefully designed in the styles of both Malaysia and China. The garden is situated a few kilometers away from Kuching City.
Happy Thursday everyone...

There are certain places which is totally worth going repeatedly till you get the perfect shot..It was 15F and my camera stopped working and had to head it in my vehicle and get it working in this cold and ended up seeing one of the best scenes ever you can imagine in this friggin cold...Winter just gets magical in the eastern sierras if you get lucky
Also one of the fellow photographer did help in getting someone to stand there in the cold
Oh.
Eliana esteve aqui, fez uma muqueca ontem de babar.
Comi ate o cu fazer bico.
(Coisa feia), nunca vi isso nao.
Mas ela disse:
"Muqueca eh Capixaba, o resto eh peixada".
Eu tenho que dizer que essa muqueca sera o "bench mark" para mim poder julgar todas as outras...
Comi tanto que comecei a enchergar o mundo assim, meio vesgo.
Boa noite, ta tarde, vou dormir....
One of the last shots of this series...
Have a nice weekend!
Thank you so much for your visits and comments. I appreciate!
Giraffes adopt an ungainly stance when drinking, and they are particularly vulnerable to predators at this time.
Giraffes are browsers, only rarely eating grass. Their long necks and legs give them access to a food supply beyond reach of other browsers.

Mr. Bo was taken back in to hospital last night so I have been fishing again and landed this shot, taken at Dugeness by Haribo.
