9/9/2013: We had another red sunrise this morning. There was a fire close by in the marsh this morning and the Rim fire is still going. It also was another hot-hot day but supposedly the weather is going to start cooling off for the rest of the week: 102º today vs. 88º tomorrow. The Delta breezes were picking up this afternoon when I left work.

4/13/2013: Now the countdown begins for my vacation! I just booked the hotel. I'm really glad that we're going to the Anime Expo again this year. Last year we couldn't make due to some circumstances but this year we're definitely going.

9/26/2013: I caught these webs in the right light and correct angle so they showed up in my mobile's lens. I don't like spiders but I find their webs fascinating.

12.30.2014: Since I'm running out of room for books (still - even with an eReader), I stack some of my craft books on a chair. The pile was getting taller and I was worried about the integrity of the chair, so I moved some of the heaviest books to the ground below. Now I'm ready to buy more books! Some of my favorites are ones that I get from Kinokuniya, the Japanese bookstore in SF.
