Pony exploring the trials of having a full West facing room in an older house on the second floor. Our house is 34 years old and is due for some upgrading - most needed is an upgrade to the windows. It gets very hot in my room. Today was 88º so my room was probably about 90+ degrees. (Can you say *ick*?) We came up with this idea of putting a screen in from of my door so I could keep my door open and at the same time keep the kittens out. My room isn't exactly kitten ready - I have a lot of beading, sewing and craft things out. Pony is sitting on top of the screen in front of my door.

10.16.2014: I wanted a new scarf to wear this weekend so I crocheted up this triangle scarf. It worked up really quickly since I used a medium weight yarn. The yarn: Vanna's Choice (Lion Brand) in Purple Print, 2 skeins, with a Size J-10 - 6mm crochet hook.

2/25/2013: This is my favorite one out of this study. I like how the details of branches and leaves turned out because it reminds me of a mapping system. This shot was taken around noon with overcast skies.

 

I'm obessing somewhat on these almost bare trees that I'm finding aound town. I had wanted to do a collage but the details were being lost. I may download some of these images and collage them in PS.

My new cat bank just got delivered from Fab.com! So Pony is watching him take the coins. The way it works is you place a coin on the fish then gently push down which activates the kitty. The kitty meows and then pops up to paw the coin into the bank. So kawaii!

5/15/2013: I saw this paw print on my windshield this morning. I wonder what the raccoon was looking for... Maybe he was chatting with our outdoor Calico kitty. Her paws were on the other side of my windshield.

 

I used an HDR filter and darkened the shot so you could see the outline of Raccoon-san's paw print in PicsPlay Pro.

9/4/2013: Kiki was waiting patiently in the kitchen. She wanted to go out but she also wanted attention. After this, she went to my sister who in turned picked her up to take her out so she could "tuck her into the studio" for the night. No night roaming with the kitties! They stay in the studio or in the house. There's too many strays in the neighborhood.
