Made this in B&W Photography class today. Never made a real photogram before, so this was cool. I used fishnet stocking (Ashlee, my roommate, was at a screening of Rocky Horror over the weekend), a comb, a mannequin, a fork, and a rock.
My first darkroom assignment in Mr. Revelt's beginning photography class at Berea High School was to create a simple photogram by placing objects on top of a piece of photographic paper, exposing the paper to light and then developing it. Wherever the light hit the paper, it turned black when it was developed, and wherever the light was blocked by the objects, it stayed white.
Have been studying Photograms in photography, did a bit of developer painting onto the photograph to give streaky appearance.

A traditional photogram is a photographic image made by placing objects directly onto the surface of photographic paper and then exposing it to light. This creates a unique image more like an x-ray than a typical photograph.
This image has been made with a digital photogram technique that allows me to create similar images in the digital darkroom.
