Photogram or lumen print. Exposed for 35 minutes to sunlight. Original is a pale blue color. Scanned the image. The scanned image was bluish and greenish. I chose to convert the piece to black and white in photoshop. I posted another bottle print back a couple of days.

Für das Bild des Kastanienblattes machte ich eine Cyanotypie davon. Um die exakten Umrisse und Strukturen zu erhalten, Packte ich das Papier mit dem Blatt in einen Vakuumierbeutel und zug die Luft heraus. Nach Belichten und Entwickeln Scannte ich mit einer Scan-Kurve, sodass eine Pseudosolarisation entstand.
To capture the image of the chestnut leaf, I made a cyanotype of it. To preserve the exact contours and textures, I placed the paper with the leaf inside a vacuum-seal bag and sucked the air out. After exposing and developing the image, I scanned it using a scan curve to create a pseudo-solarisation effect.

No chance of any cyanotype printing recently due to poor weather but this one was made a couple of weeks ago when we had a bit of sun for a few hours. However, the sun didn't last for long and this one was exposed for two days in partial cloud. The UV light is getting weaker and the days shorter as the sun gets lower in the sky and I suspect that this has affected the colour of the final print. I love the unpredictability of this technique!

Red oxide on a photogram. The color is a name for a Benjamin Moore color which I quite like and will likely go on the barns and sheds where I live. I like this red because it appears to have a little brown in it rather than intense red.

When first bleaching it goes more to gray black, when first developing it keeps the brown color from the exposure.

Das Bild entstand aus einer Cyanotypie der Ahornnasen mit Hilfe von elektronischer Pseudosolarisation. Hierbei wird beim Scannen der Farbraum nicht linear gescannt, sondern mit einer Transformation in farbige Vögel verzaubert. Es ist wie ein Schatten in Platons Höhle, der durch ein Prisma gesehen wird.

slightly developed in diluted paper developer then fixed. You can slightly develop till too dark as the fixing will brighten it slightly.
Exposure was 10 minutes in full sun btw.

Je viens de passer une belle semaine à profiter des derniers rayons de soleil en ce début d'automne en faisant, pour la première fois, des photogrammes avec les procédés Cyanotype, Anthotype et Lumen.

Exposure very short about 1 minute by tracing the object
The red color is because I wetted the paper and washed with handsoap exposed wet.
This time i soaked the leaf in vinager. The alkaline soap should inprove darkening, the vinager reduce.
these are of course not fixed so have to stay in the dark. I have not found a good way to fix and keep the intense colors.

first developed in light with very dilute paper developer then bleached slightly in C41 bleach and fixed.
