Well, that or one of those stringy plastic lights. Kind of looks like a screen saver.

Ok. Please explain this to me. This guy (or gal, I guess ... I didn't see the drive) has a metal scrotum hanging off the back of their truck, right? I think I've heard of this before but I can't remember. Is it kind of like those Italian golden horn necklaces? It's about fertility or something? Or am I imagining things here? Someone help me out!!

Today I did a portfolio shoot at Burnie Park. Aleks discovered one of the trees there was great for climbing and decided Dommy needed his first "tree experience" so up he went.... Dom loved it, until he realised he was off the ground LOL

I was near here for another job-related thing, so I stopped to peer in at the castly, which I'd still never been round, in all my almost-15 years in Oxford.

Claire and Frances, possibly discussing how great the pies were at Tolksoc's banquet planning meeting. I was intrigued by the idea of the Earl Grey (or was it Lady Grey?) pound cake Eleanor and Conrad had brought. My caramelized garlic breads and cinnamon-custard-orange tartlet things went down fairly well too :-)

Another RPPTL at The Breakers weekend comes to a grand close.

THE MENZINGERS - "Sun Hotel"

I remember you well at the Sun Hotel

Where we were waiting impatiently

For a decent night's sleep

It's like I've landed in the rubble of my past life

And I never seem to board a return flight

From the shame, the fear, the guilt that's tough to mention

The kind that always pry your eyelids open

And I'm pretty sure this corner of the world

Is the loneliest corner in the whole world

Maybe it's me or the bartender

This Budweiser or the other customers

When all eyes are glued on the 6:00 news

For another fire and another successful deer season

I'll leave you alone

And you will leave me alone

I remember you well at the Sun Hotel

Where we were waiting impatiently

For a decent night's sleep

I remember you well at the Sun Hotel

Where we were running out of money

Where we were grinding down our teeth

Day 178 -

25 min walk to get to this view down a mountain, in fog and rain, still a nice view but it would be epic in the sun with some funky clouds!

Fair play to the police for letting local school children name their van. Could have been Cop McCopface!

It wouldn't be FEST without Karma Cream.

PIEBALD - "The Benefits Of Ice Cream"

I know a place where the dead they come to life

But you will get there and see it anyway

You can float but you cannot walk by

Why send a robot to do a man's job

Hey most pessimistic boy in LA

Have some ice cream and relax in the shade

You do not want to be the grumpy old man

Look out for fearing your formative years

Just like the dreams you're in

I don't know why you don't take them seriously

What happens when the blood stops moving

Most claim it's healthy but I disagree

Feel the heart beat inside of your hand

Take the pulse, cure it, and then take out the trash

Feb 4th

School will be back for the new year in a weeks time. Today we purchased all the school necessities including uniforms - which very importantly have their buttons on them - I wonder how long that will last LOL
