After work I lie in a patch of sun on the floor in my dressing room. The dogs jump all over me and nip at each other before having a little lie down in the sun with me. Then it's time for making dinner and collecting a HEAP of tomatoes from the garden.

Day 176, Social Drinking

My health has been terrible lately. I wake up in the early hours of Tuesday morning with the most excruciating toothache and spend the day in agony. I am so miserable. Clamp a hot water bottle to my face for most of the day.

An old sinclair station near Goshan Utah.

Happy Day 50! Today was an amazingly beautiful day filled with long shadows and a perfectly blue sky. Me and Jared went for a little walk and hung out at the Clawson Park for a little bit.

Heading out to Boston

We had a really successful music-arranging weekend, in that we got several songs mostly to completion, as well as having a fun time hanging out with each other and getting a bit of singing in, too. In the late afternoon on the Sunday, we headed up to Port Meadow for a swim and a sing-song on the river bank :-)

Halloween hi-jinks at work.

Lazy mother and son cats on New Years Day.

I like magnets of people who stick by you.

THE FRONT BOTTOMS - "Lipstick Covered Magnet"

Love how you disagree

to tell me that I'm wrong

when every bone is healed

and every stitch is sewn.

I've got some words to share

but she don't like my tone.

I've got some words to share,

she won't pick up her phone.

She's got some medicine.

I'm choking on the pills.

She shouldn't feel this way,

a lack of social skills.

He'll take her out tonight.

She'll have an awesome time.

The only thing that's lost,

the only thing that's mine.

And I'm gonna get on my knees

Would you kick me in the face please?

It'll make whatever I say

sound like poetry.

And as the ghost begins to bleed

the words will fall like teeth

and whatever we have locked up now is free.

You're talking with your friends

Secrets they'll never keep

They're sitting on your bed

And all you want is sleep

Pretend that this is fake

It helps to kill the pain

All that you want is different

All that you'll get is same

There's nothing more to say

I think I've said it all

I'm sitting on the edge

I'm waiting for the fall.

I'll check my messages

They'll say you want a fight?

I'm turning off my phone.

How high were you last night?

And I could get on my knees

Would you kick me in the face please?

It'll make whatever I say sound like poetry.

And as the ghost begins to bleed

The words will fall like teeth

And whatever we have locked up now is free.

I'm gonna get on my knees

Would you kick me in the face please?

It'll make whatever I say sound like poetry.

And as the ghost begins to bleed

the words will fall like teeth

and whatever we have locked up now is free.

And I'm scared I'm gonna die as lonely as I feel right now.

And I'm scared I'm gonna die as lonely as I feel right now.

And I'm scared I'm gonna die as lonely as I feel right now.

This was my photo-A-Day Photo from 10/03/09 and IZEAFest.

Today's photo is of the big screen that would be running video photos and occasionally images of the sponsors. I was a sponsor and figured that I kept missing seeing my logo on the screen. I shot a note over to Trevor and asked him if I was missing my logo or if I wasn't included. I found out that my logo had been left out as an oversight. I wasn't mad or anything but I was grateful to the guys running the technical aspects of the show for correcting that oversight. I picked this photo because it was the first time I had sponsored anything. I used my own money for it as well as for prizes and all my BenSpark.com swag like fortune cookies, shirts, hats and water bottles. I don't know if people knew that or they figured that that stuff was part of the the package of stuff from Ted Murphy and my blog redesign. It wasn't. Ted was more then generous with his time and talent as well as for getting me some great business cards. More at www.benspark.com/izeafest-2009-day-2.html

Checking out flowers to cheer up a friend.
