Take the dogs to the park with Mum this afternoon. Poppie is very well behaved - Archie and Gracie less so...

This may seem like a silly subject, but these are my two "usual" mugs, and they're never normally in the same place at the same time. Pooh is the "home" mug, and has companions Tigger and Eeyore, who're used by visiting friends. They were birthday/xmas gifts from my aunt and her family in preparation for my very first trip to uni! The under-sea mug came from Hawaii in 2001, and has been my "work" mug ever since, though on this occasion it came home because I'd taken it to a mug-deprived tea gathering straight after work.
Thats My corner in the house (Yeah, I'm messy :(()
the picture is actually a panoramic one (you can notice some distortion), but that room is too small, so I couldn't step back :))
Mercury is getting old and brownish and smelly and quite literally long in the tooth, but is still the adventurous one who comes out to stare at me and grab my attention when he wants me to let him out of the tank for a romp (or for food, of course!).
Walking around the lake and watching all the leaves fall. It's beautiful, busy and surprisingly warm.

A bit of a meta photo: Cynthia taking a picture of her burger at the Gardener's Arms. I was feeling particularly hungry at the same time, because I wasn't allowing myself a burger that day :-P
Full of a cold and off sick. Lie in bed and watch 'Santa Claus' and 'That Girl'.

Toby made some cupcakes with very bright icing for his three-year-old niece. We are eating the leftovers at work today. :)
A heron on the weir next to Osney Bridge, which Pippin and I were crossing on our way home from a walk.
Something's growing! This is one of those all-in-one kits with a bulb, pot and compost I acquired on impulse from Aldi.
There's a railing out Botley Raod near the ringroad where there are almost always balloons tied to draw attention to a billboard advertising beds. There were three still-inflated ones today, but most of them were like this, and there are lots of used pieces of string tied all along the rails, long after the balloons themselves have gone.
This wire sculpture was outside a shop opposite the Woodstock Deli, where I was pickink up a salad in anticipiation of my no-time-to-eat-dinner Wednesday evening.
this photo represents the most near raw file I have ever uploaded to flickr. I cropped and sharped (slightly) and changed the school logo that is on her sweatshirt IRL to my own logo. THAT's IT! {patting self on back} :) hooray 4 moi
