Having arrived home, I had an unsuccessful bid to buy soya milk from Waitrose. Sometime around when this photo was taken, I collapsed into bed with a high fever for something more than 24 hours...

Me serena el sonido de este movil cuando se mece con el viento..
...me encanta verlo reflejar la luz del atardecer...
...como olas de mar haciendo musica con los caracoles de su orilla...
In home gardens where uniformity is not critical, bulbs can remain in the garden for 2-4 years after which the plantings become crowded (ie: small or no flowers).
Today was one of those days that no matter what, I couldn't focus on the broad side of a barn if it were standing still and I was using a tripod and auto focus. Sheesh. If I couldn't focus on a building, what was I doing with butterflies?

A view south from the 7th floor of the Thom Building (engineering), over the physics department and its observatory. I know it's into the sun, but I like what that does to the Oxford skyline here :-)
Nasty sore throat of the last two days has turned into fluey cold. Made myself a hot honey and lemon and took myself to bed for two days.
My uncle and cousin visiting briefly before heading back through to their side of Scotland for the rest of boxing day.
