Metro City (美罗城) on the left with its iconic glass ball facade and Taipingyang Digital Plaza (Phase II, 太平洋数码二期) are / were two iconic buildings in the Xujiahui shopping area.
And why "were" above?
Answer: The right building, Taipingyang Digital Plaza Phase II, has been demolished in 2016 and is gone now. Therefore this shot has some historical value 😇.
Also: this was taken from the grand staircase of the Grand Gateway Mall - in the meanwhile that staircase was also removed and is replaced by a massive lobby structure.
Several long exposures combined into one image, due to the time the shot was taken traffic was not that busy...

With some recent moisture, even the grasses on the front range mountains have started to turn green. On the afternoon of May 4, 2018, Amtrak’s eastbound California Zephyr descends the trackage through Eisele (formerly Clay), Colorado. Leading the train is recently-repainted P42DC No. 130.
Amtrak train 55 hurries south on the Springfield Line passing some fall color at Emerson Road in Longmeadow, MA. Leading the Vermonter this day was Phase II heritage unit number 130. This locomotive will be swapped for an electric in New Haven for the rest of the trip down the Northeast Corridor to Washington D.C.
A late-running Amtrak train no. 4 made it possible for me to get out and photograph it near Topeka with not just one, but two heritage units on the point! The Phase IV no. 184 is on the point, with the Phase II no. 130 second out. It was a dreary day, but I like the way the rain is seen bouncing off of the puddles on the ground.
After completing the station stop, the Zephyr winds its way out of Omaha with newly painted Phase II engine 130 on the point.

Just another evening awaiting the arrival of Amtrak's Texas Eagle detour. I thought, "Oh there wasn't any reports of heritage on the Texas Eagle tonight.." Once he pulled into the depot, this surprises me.

Amtrak's Phase II Heritage Unit leads an eastbound #4, the Southwest Chief, through the crossovers in Bristol, IL, while BNSF 7046 waits in the distance at the head of a manifest train. This could be December 31st, but no, it's actually October 31st. Record-setting snowfalls blanketed much of the Midwest on this Halloween day, with many parts of the Chicagoland area receiving in excess of 4 inches, and some up to 7 inches. This is the first time that there has been measurable snow of any significance in the Chicago area since record keeping began.

On my way back home I decided to take the N4 as a short-cut between Luxemburg and Liège. Right before nightfall I came across an oldtimer garage along this N4. I was really astonished what I discovered there...

The 504 was designed by Aldo Brovarone for Pininfarina and presented in 1968. A huge estate was added in Sept. 1970.
For 1975 the 504 received a minor style up-date e.g. with restyled door handles.
In 1979 the 504 Pick-up replaced the 404 Pick-up.
In 1983 the last 504 Berline came from the French Peugeot production plant.
The Pick-up was manufactured at Chausson and continued for more than a decade longer.
I found this poor 504 Pick-up in front of a shed. At this same spot I've discovered some 504s before. And in all cases the license plate was missing or covered. I fear they all went for export to (North-) African countries.

Hello there.
Geez dude, where did summer go? I had big plans to build a bunch of stuff over summer break, but bam, it's gone. :o
I've only got this little guy to show. I pretty much just wanted to build something for my Phase II boi that I got in a trade with a friend. It's nothin' fancy, just a chunk of terrain, and a little piece of machinery that looks like it belongs in SW.
I'm going on a trip soon, but when I get back I should be able to get some more building done *press x to doubt*. I'm working on a DC thing right now, it's go'n pretty good, so I'm excited to finish that and get it posted.
Anyway, just thought I would post this. Enjoy!

Oh btw, what do you guys think of the picture? I played around with lighting, and some settings on my camera.
Very roomy estate version, derived from the 305 Berline which was designed by Pininfarina and introduced in Nov. 1977.
The 305 Break Phase 1: presentation March 1980.
The Phase 2 Berline followed late 1982 and was built till 1988. The break till 1989.
I was very delighted to see a Peugeot 305 in a classic car museum, because I own 305 Breaks for 15 years now.
I was surprised too, because a 305 is not a typical classic car which you can expect in a classic car museum.
