Another frame from Parco Talenti, where egrets and parakeets live peacefully just a few steps from the city. What continues to fascinate me is how natural and relaxed their presence feels in a park surrounded by residential buildings.
In this moment, the two egrets almost seem to be playing—one already on the ground, wings slightly open, the other suspended mid-air as if challenging it: who can jump higher? Or perhaps it was simply a brief chase, a quick repositioning in their quiet daily routine. Either way, the scene felt unexpectedly lighthearted.
I was drawn to the contrast between motion and stillness: the lifted wings, the stretched legs, the soft winter light over the grass. There’s no tension here, only energy and balance. It’s a reminder that even in an urban setting, nature doesn’t just survive—it interacts, explores, and occasionally seems to enjoy itself.

Un altro scatto al Parco Talenti, dove aironi e pappagalli vivono serenamente a due passi dalla città. Ciò che continua a colpirmi è quanto la loro presenza appaia naturale, perfettamente integrata in un parco circondato da palazzi e strade.
In questa scena i due aironi sembrano quasi giocare: uno già a terra con le ali appena aperte, l’altro sospeso in aria come se lo stesse sfidando a chi salta più in alto. Forse era solo un breve inseguimento o un cambio di posizione, ma l’impressione è quella di un momento leggero, quasi ludico.
Mi ha attratto il contrasto tra movimento e quiete: le ali tese, le zampe allungate, la luce morbida sull’erba invernale. Non c’è tensione, solo energia e armonia. È la dimostrazione che, anche in un contesto urbano, la natura non si limita ad adattarsi: vive, interagisce e, talvolta, sembra perfino divertirsi.

This is my friends cat and she's actually a girl but for some reason they called her Peter. She's twenty years old and a bit deaf but other than that she's going strong.
I wasn't able to "frame" her the way I'd like to (it's a challenge), but I like this one anyway. Hopeful will cheer some people up, if needed. ;)
