I've recently been working on projects with clients in my spare time. Here are some of my work from logo's to covers and photo editing. My official logo is also included which goes by the name of SD Visions.

“The Colour And The Shape” is a semi-daily personal project in the line of works and studies by Mark Rothko, Paul Klee, or Wassily Kandinsky. It aims to explore the synesthetic qualities of images, and the effects of color and space subdivision in the observer’s psyche.
Working within a set of rigid and very limited rules opens a window to self-analysis. By being fully aware of the involved thought processes and outcome, it allows me to improve different aspects of my own creative process.

So today I went to an arranged date with my friend and her boyfriend Sean who was my model, My friend brought her daughter Camille along who let me take her picture and thanks to her confidence for letting me photograph her without her wig, doesn't she look gorgeous! These were taken at various locations around the town in Stirling and inside the old arcade and the thistle shopping center I am very happy with the results and the photos above are my favorite out of the many I took.

An alternate book cover/jacket for my current read, Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian; or the Evening Redness in the West. An, at times, staggeringly violent tale of the transfiguration of the old west on the borderlands of the fledgling USA and Mexico. It is also, quite fittingly, the first book chosen to read for the Society of Literary Gentlemen.

2010|365: A Design Project
In an effort to keep from getting creatively stagnant as I go through the course of a 9-5 design job, as well as staving off general laziness, I've undertaken this personal project.
Every day, rain, shine or somewhere inbetween, I will be making something cool. The results may be photos, design pieces, experimental type, videos, or anything else I feel is worth showing. The only caveat will be that each piece will have to be made that day, even though it might not get posted on the same day.
The end result of the project will be a book (possibly 365 pages long, maybe shorter to reduce costs), which I will make available to anyone who wants to pay for one.

How my personal project at Uni looks like in week 42. I still have a lot of thinking to do, but my idea is to make a book with a song lyric or song lyrics to celebrate the popular song lyrics of the 20th century.
This is also part of my project highlighting Environmental Issues. I used black material so the hands and arms would stand out. I then used pressed flowers over the image before scanning, to give the effect of flowers falling onto the subject's hands.
