Description: This is my artwork for the Personal Project in IBMYP two years ago. The topic of my Personal Project is "Can I design the most beautiful and comfortable ballet tutu for a little ballet dancer?" I have decided to choose this topic for several reasons. Firstly, I love ballet and I have been dancing since I was four-years-old. Every time I dance, I enjoy every moment and forget about all the sad things that happened to me. People around me always ask why I love dancing that much, and my answer will always be ‘dance is my life and I can’t live without it’. I love the customs, the makeup, the point shoes…Everything about ballet, I just love it. Therefore, I decided to create a perfect ballet dancing tutu for my future daughter. Since I was young, I find it fascinating how things work and how this passion of mine has never died. Throughout the project, I have learned more about the textile and design, as well as the processes that are behind the construction of these creations. Such as the use materials in tutus.

As a personal project, I decided to shoot everything and anything for 50 days with just a 50mm lens (on a full frame body).

Holly Penner is 22 and plans on being a teacher. Maybe the rugby skills will come in handy in that profession.... She's played for many years, back to her high school days outside of the province. She currently plays for the Lady Condors Rugby Team, the University of Regina Cougars Team, and coaches High School Rugby. Pictured about to be tackled as her cleats didn't exactly get traction on the layer of ice under the snow. Photo by Heidi Atter.

Jacky Hintz waits patiently for her turn to get her tattoo worked on. Jacky has seven stars on her ribs that she eventually hopes to get filled in.
Well my personal project is really starting to come together now. The car is currently over at the HellaFab garage getting her pipes done. Everything from 3" full vband exhaust, to charge piping, and manifold and DP have been created by Matt. All the work looks excellent and I can't wait to see this thing really put in work this season :-) There is about 5 days left of fabrication then shes off to paint!
Construction is underway on a large bridge spanning a gorge you currently have to wind down into and then out of, not far from Villa Mar, Bolivia.
