The design was taken from some lovely 15th century playing cards. One of the suits is books. How cool is that?
A detail shot where you can see the clear crackle finish, which is so deeply awesome. Sadly, it also took over three frigging months to dry. I won't be doing anything with this finish for sale. For personal projects, though, yes, absolutely. It looks amazing.

The matter-of-fact way in which Kafka writes about such a surreal situation inspired this piece, where a traditional style portrait has been replaced with a beetle's head.

Ma Maison (My House) party poster. Limited to two colours to save on print cost. This was the perfect way to challenge my aptitude to produce work with a sparse palette and still remain eye-catching. I was inspired by the screen-print process. VAG Rounded font used.

So today I went to an arranged date with my friend and her boyfriend Sean who was my model, My friend brought her daughter Camille along who let me take her picture and thanks to her confidence for letting me photograph her without her wig, doesn't she look gorgeous! These were taken at various locations around the town in Stirling and inside the old arcade and the thistle shopping center I am very happy with the results and the photos above are my favorite out of the many I took.
Across the open courtyard on the left side is this building called the destrictarium. It is thought that men would change into workout clothes, apply oil in this building before engaging in exercise, then return to scrape the oil off and plunge into the large pool behind the building. The outside of the building is covered with artwork of mythological gods.
