No significado de seu nome, São Paulo já mostra sua história.
São Paulo é santo, é fé e esperança.
É pequeno, disposto e demonstra um otimismo contagiante.
Leva o dia-dia como degraus para chegar ao desenvolvimento.
São Paulo planeja, não erra.
São Paulo é vista no mundo, e perdida aos que nela moram.
É pobre e feia. É desumana e vergonhosa.
São Paulo é nação, feito coração de mãe.
No santo dia de São
Paulo deixa de lado tudo pela ambição.
São Paulo não olha pro lado.
São Paulo falta educação.
No coração de Paulo a vontade de dias melhores,
sem preocupação.
São Paulo reza.
São Paulo acredita.
São Paulo tem cultura própria, miscigenada na multidão.
É por isso que é São.
São Paulo fala diversas lÃnguas. São Paulo não se comunica.
São Paulo sobrevive.
Na cidade clichê, tudo parece bobagem
Fecham os olhos aqueles que não querem ver
Fazer o que?
Não podemos obrigar ninguém a ouvir os gritos abafados no silêncio mascarado.
Silêncio que incomoda, mas não movimenta ninguém.
Ninguém, uma cidade de alguém que não sabemos quem.
Nenhum santo faz milagre sozinho, somos discÃpulos.
E se Paulo é assim é porque permitimos chegar nisso.

"Die Performance von Christiaan Tonnis findet am Vortag des längsten Tages des Jahres statt. In seiner leuchtenden Hand wird der Künstler einen Strauß blauer Blumen halten und mit diesem zwei Textpassagen aus Novalis’ Roman »Heinrich von Ofterdingen« auf zwei sich gegenüberliegende, raumgreifende Horizonte schreiben. Mit seiner meditativen Aktion nimmt Christiaan Tonnis Bezug auf das gegenwärtige Geschehen: die performative Einschreibung eines poetischen Textes der Frühromantik ist als Gegenentwurf für unsere aus den Fugen geratene, schwankende Welt zu lesen - und verspricht Erlösung. Wenn am folgenden Tag der Sommer beginnt, so startet mit ihm auch eine Zeit neuer Perspektiven, die so sehnsuchtsvoll erwartet werden."
