I'm kind of fascinated by these trees that can flourish on a small rock homestead like this. This is at Watson Lake in Prescott, Arizona. Watson Lake is one of my all-time favorite places I could spend hours exploring the rocks there. In the first comment, I posted a shot of the whole area I took back in 2011. I really want a do-over on some sunrise shots one day. I was just getting used to a new camera at the time and.. . lets just say I want a do-over. Only had my bird lens with me so no landscape shots from last weekend. Just a distance shot of this tree. (If you click into the shot below, you can see this tree the landscape. It's the right-most one on the little rock island)

The Pink Ladies have all become grannies, it's strange that they all married a Mr. Smith. 🤔
Aw go on, it's just for 'Sliders Sunday'.
PS. it really is those pink ladies.
Dance performance “Care” by Helena Krinal & United Dancers of Zuga.
The dance performance “Care” focuses on how difficult, easy, depressing, and uplifting it is to care for someone else.
The collaboration between Zuga and Helena Krinal, which started by chance, turned out to be so interesting and enriching for both parties that they have now been researching and creating together for six years and have reached their third performance – “Care”. Previously, they created “Noise” (2019) and “Shame” (2021). “Noise” was nominated for the Estonian Theatre Award in the dance performance category in 2020.
Led by the Estonian Dance Agency and local cultural organizers, TantsuMENÜÜ brings dance performances all over Estonia.

Always the nucleic acid sampling for everyone. No one knows as to when this will end. Yet the residents continue to cooperate tamely with the Big Brother's performance.
Since March, the outbreak has been spiralling out of control across China, including Shanghai, sonce the Chinese government refused to approve the US vaccine due to face-saving concerns, forcing the Chinese to only get the ineffective (and potentially harmful) vaccine made in China. This policy has proven to be a complete failure, yet the government persists with it. In Shanghai, neighbourhoods are sealed off in shifts and each resident is ordered to undergo a PCR test in groups of ten or even twenty, called "carpet testing". Although it did nothing to end the epidemic, for the officials, such a huge outpouring of effort and expense was nothing more than a show of hard work, while also taking the opportunity to bring the population under complete control.
Throughout our lives, we all care for someone or are cared for. Sometimes it’s so hard, taking care of someone. And then it’s so hard when no one needs our care anymore. Not to mention how hard it is to give yourself into someone else’s care. And despite all this, there is so much love in caring, providing care, and being cared for. Love that elevates us and offers redemption for past mistakes. Care carries us through life, from birth to death. Choreographer Helena Krinal´s and Zuga United Dancers´ "Care" premiered as part of TantsuMENÜÜ (DanceMENU) progrmme. Led by the Estonian Dance Agency and local cultural organizers, TantsuMENÜÜ brings dance performances all over Estonia.

Taken while this event: CECI N'EST PAS…
INSIDIOUS IMAGES
A glass box in the city centre. Inside is a living tableau that changes every day. Disconcerting scenes – that some find embarrassing, others intriguing – leave no one indifferent. The Dutch artist Dries Verhoeven concocts destabilizing and potentially explosive images, deliberately poking away at our taboos. 10 days, 10 events, 10 cold showers.
Ceci n’est pas... presents different people in a display case in situations that do not meet the criteria of perfection and success promoted by marketing propaganda. In an era of visual discomfiture where the passerby is submerged by reassuring visual ads aimed at the frenetic consumers we have become, this highly subversive jack-in-the-box worms its way into the city centre, upsetting orthodox convictions, disturbing humdrum routines. Taken aback and maybe even shocked, spectators express opinions, argue, reflect. The public space, suddenly a theatre of imperfection and trouble, becomes a place for discussion and exchange. This is not a commercial.
