At first glance, the geology of the Valley of the Gods is just Nature’s Handicraft. Beyond the artistic merit of this sculpted landscape, however, is the exposed history of the Earth’s Triassic period, 250 to 300 million years ago. Trump’s reversal of the National Monument status of these lands established by the Obama Administration eliminates protections for the world’s densest cache of fossils from the Triassic period and thousands of Native American artifacts and sites, now open again to mining, expanded grazing and cross-country trekking by off-road vehicles.
That prospect spurred the typically apolitical Society of Vertebrate Paleontology (SVP), based in Bethesda, Maryland, to sue the Trump administration in federal court, joining archaeologists, environmentalists, outdoor companies, and five Native American tribes. The aim of the lawsuit is to safeguard the boundaries of the 158 national monuments created under presidential authority.
This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera with a KOWA 1:3.5/55mm lens and Zenza Bronica 67mm SL39•3C(UV) filter using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
Bessemer SD38-2 866 and EJ&E 670, a former Bessemer SD38-2, switch out the yard in Homewood, IL. I'm sure before 670 came to the J these two spent a lot of time coupled together!
Just look at these beautiful wings....amazing what Mother Nature creates! First she creates these beautiful animals and then they become works of art just by their own Nature of Being!

One of the worlds in Pairi Daiza animal park is The Kingdom of Ganesha. This world is derived from Indonesia and the areas of Southeast Asia and has been built to perfection, with temples, columns, trees and plants and impressive enclosures with the accompanying animals, such as the white tigers and the Asian elephants.

I was too excited when I uploaded the previous image, wearing this gorgeous dress. Sadly it did not do nearly justice to the beauty of the dress. Gtranted I don't have the exact figure to give this dress justice but raising my left arm to snap the picture with my phone... well, it does "funky" things to the dress's proportions and is not as flattering to my sweet feminine figure... I have ahunch you'll be seeing more of this dress in a not so distant future... Promise I'll keep looking for the best angle :-)
