All that's missing is me, I did get in the "Streak" (the name of my my yak) right after I took this shot and heard another photographer say "Perrrrrrfect" while i was out in the middle. So he has one of me in the Streak out there on the world wide web somewhere ;-) It really was a perfect night, a kayaker's dream come true....you instantly became one with the water.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a kayak so that is kind of the same thing. I should start calling myself Kayakgirlrightup...ha!

After climbing Mt Owen, the highest peak in Kahurangi National Park, New Zealand, we camped by the tarns between Granity Pass Hut and the summit. We had a little bit of rain and then it fined up to a beautiful afternoon - so many photos were taken :)

I don't think that you will see a Dahlia in such a perfect circle as this one from my friends garden.
Walking on New Year's Day in the hills of Vaucluse/Drôme in the south of France. The temperature was a very unseasonably warm 20c. The vineyards are waiting for summer and the small trees you see dotted amongst the vineyards are, I think, apricot trees. The foothills of the Alps are in the background. At one point when we were a little higher than the spot where I took this photo, there were two vultures circling in the sky above us. Vultures! Who would have thought?
Being fully matured, one of the Canada Goose Goslings that I photographed provides a perfect profile photo.

I love the perfect imperfections of nature as Autumn comes calling. The Angels with her repairs and weather worn marks and the leaves were taken in the peaceful haven of the Iveagh Gardens, Dublin City.

At our photoclub we had to make a picture like a famous photographer that we like. This was my contribution. I have a great favorite and that is Martin Kers🌞 I took the picture from The land of Matin Kers with the picture Tree (Het land van Martin Kers met afbeelding boom) as an example and I found it here that day🌞
Another hazy sunrise from Islandhill. The water was flat calm giving perfect reflections. Beautiful to just stand and watch :)
Just starting to open in my garden, it has been rather breezy so my husband held up a piece of dark green card to stop the flower blowing about. I love the result and took lots and lots of photos !

What a perfect plan that a Long-tailed Weasel who is typically brown and yellow in the warmer months, turns snow white in the Winter (except for a black tip on the end of his tail).
What a grand and amazing plan it is to have built-in camouflage by the season. Some believe that it is just nature’s way, but I choose to believe that it is a grand and intricate plan of a higher order.

This Chrysalisis the caterpillar I found on the tropical balloon milkweed... I can't believe I missed it while searching for cats and eggs.... but there it was waving at me!
I found it on June 1st... so if it turns out to be a female, her name will be June!!
She went into chrysalis on 6/5, so soon it will eclose!!
Still no signs of Monarchs on Long Island.... I'm not giving up hope since last year I found my first three eggs on July 13th...
I have faith!!
