This is my 3rd visit to Hokkaido of Japan and perhaps my # 10th boat trip to shoot these eagles.....but I have yet to get the perfect shot ! LOL.
The 5:30am morning trip is just for photographers and would cost you $30 more. The boat carries about 30 people and advance booking is recommended.
A Common Eastern Bumble Bee on a Coneflower. With temps in the high 90's a good day not to spend a lot of time outside.
These daffodils were not perfect anymore, but the sun made it perfect enough for me:-) Taken at The Keukenhof Holland of 2009:-)

Perhaps it's just a great read she has there, but I was amazed how this young woman carved out a space on the deck of a taxi boat and settled in among crowds of people while reading with rapt concentration.
In perfect form, CP281-08 banks around the old depot at Brookfield, WI during the late hours of the day, in a 3 train afternoon procession that had both mains in use for westbound trains. Special thanks to the birds for this one, I owe you a beer!
