Being feminine outside together with a friend, just relaxing, enjoying the beautiful weather and surroundings. What a perfect day!
I've been busy preparing the garden following a few major changes and took a day out to visit Bridgemere here in the UK. It's purported to be the largest garden centre in England and has it's own display gardens of which this is a small part.
The title is inspired by the fantastic BBC video featuring Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" that you can find here www.youtube.com - it really is worth a watch and I only wish that my garden looked this good!!

The Tatra Register UK Rally I organised in April 2012 was very wet. The June 2023 Rally was sunny. Here a line-up including 4 Tatra, my Lancia & an Austin bask in the sunshine at Portland Heights.

I was with a couple friends waiting for the GFDNTW to come closer. We made a quick decision to go to Ramsey to scout out the train. Right as we got in position two BNSF GEVOs came into view as well as the GFDNTW. The BN’s just passed GEVOs just in time to be in the view. Some sunlight also came into view too!
It was the perfect vacation day for me at the Ligurian Sea. The autumn sun was warm and clear, and the sparkling play of sunlight on the water felt like stars scattered across the sea. A magical moment I will always remember.
Es war für mich der perfekte Ferientag am Ligurischen Meer. Die herbstliche Sonne schien klar und warm, und das funkelnde Spiel der Sonnenstrahlen auf dem Wasser erinnerte an Sterne im Meer. Ein magischer Moment, den ich immer in Erinnerung behalten werde.

After walking backwards and forwards
(probably quadrupled my walking distance in the process ) I did eventually get to this spot , and was not dissapointed , I have taken so many shots at this very spot , various viewpoints , angles , focal length , the light forever changing , clouds forming and dissapearing But for a few brief moments the sun partialy broke through the clouds behind and left , giving this " Perfect Light "
I was running around this spot like a lunatic : ) getting the most from this unfolding scene , of which there are plenty more to come
It was a perfect spring day to wear my new hair. I live near several lakes. One is very large and has a lovely small park between the lake and a restored train depot..
I took a cup of coffee and went to the park. The sun was warm, the humidity low with a sight cool breeze and the temp was 72 F. What more could a girl ask for except a close friend with whom to share?

There has been quite a bit of movement in my Blythe family this year, with eight girls leaving and at least as many new arrivals...

I actually spent ages lining them up in this case, standing up, for a group photo... then as i laid them down in the case to take them back upstairs, they all looked up at me with such beautiful eyes, that i decided to make this their group shot! :)
They keep feeding each other in my crab apple trees. If I could get a couple of bald eagles to land, I'd be even happier.
