It was a perfect spring day to wear my new hair. I live near several lakes. One is very large and has a lovely small park between the lake and a restored train depot..
I took a cup of coffee and went to the park. The sun was warm, the humidity low with a sight cool breeze and the temp was 72 F. What more could a girl ask for except a close friend with whom to share?

It was the perfect vacation day for me at the Ligurian Sea. The autumn sun was warm and clear, and the sparkling play of sunlight on the water felt like stars scattered across the sea. A magical moment I will always remember.

After walking backwards and forwards
(probably quadrupled my walking distance in the process ) I did eventually get to this spot , and was not dissapointed , I have taken so many shots at this very spot , various viewpoints , angles , focal length , the light forever changing , clouds forming and dissapearing But for a few brief moments the sun partialy broke through the clouds behind and left , giving this " Perfect Light "
I was running around this spot like a lunatic : ) getting the most from this unfolding scene , of which there are plenty more to come

The Tatra Register UK Rally I organised in April 2012 was very wet. The June 2023 Rally was sunny. Here a line-up of 3 Tatra, 2 Wartburg, an Austin & a Chevy Corvair bask in the sunshine at Portland Heights.

I actually spent ages lining them up in this case, standing up, for a group photo... then as i laid them down in the case to take them back upstairs, they all looked up at me with such beautiful eyes, that i decided to make this their group shot! :)
Currently this is one of my favorite shot, for the (her) beauty, for the use of light, for the treatment and post-production.
It reminds me a lot of the album "Adore" by The Smashing Pumpkins (...yeah, i'm a bit obsessed by this band...).

Kyrgyzstan
It's all about moments like this.
Right after Tajikistan - Kyrgyzstan border crossing. It was dark already, around 7pm, and quite cold. The side road took us a bit away from main one, so we could stay a bit hidden from passing by headlights. We put our tents quickly and started to cook dinner. The first and only meal that day.
After having some pasta with canned meat, we spent around thirty minutes talking about the whole day and tried to figure out the way to get some fuel next day having only seven dollars in cash and around the same amount in Tajik currency. After while we went to sleep. Well. That night was bloody cold. Well below zero for sure.
Next morning we woke up to find out that we are in the middle of beautiful valley surrounded by gorgeous mountains and fresh brewed coffee just made that morning even better.
